Now, therefore, in pursuance of the Statute in such case made and provided, notice is hereby given on Tuesday, 27th day of April, A.D. "Mayme" Hildenstein, 82, 12 Abner died at 5:35 p.m. Monday in AnnaHenry Nursing Home, where she had been a patient six weeks. A lifetime resident of Edwardsville, Mrs. Hildenstein was born Dec. 16, 1888, a daughter of the late George and Matilda Soehlke Wendell.

Her husband, John W. Hildenstein of Edwardsville, to whom she was married July 12, 1909, preceded her in death on April 16, 1966. She is survived by sons, Melvin Hildenstein, Naples, and Wendell Hildenstein, Highland; daughters Mrs. Thomas (Harriet) Cunningham, Seattle, and Mrs. Arnold (Betty) Leitner of Alton, 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Besides her husband, three brothers and two sisters preceded her in death. Mrs. Hildenstein was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church and of the church's Altar Society. She was a former member of O'Reilly Circle, Daughters of Isabella.

Friends may call at the Lesley Marks Funeral Home 4 p.m. Wednesday. A funeral Mass will be said at 9:30 a.m. Thursday in St. Boniface Catholic Church.

Rev. William J. Stanley officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. There will be a scripture service at 8 p.m.

Wednesday in the funeral home. Mr. Mersinger Gilbert Henry Mersinger, 62, Route 1, Collinsville, died Monday in his home. He was a farmer and a lifetime resident of the Troy area. Mr.

Mersinger was born Feb. 26, 1909, near Troy, a son of the late Valentine and Kate Reibold Mersinger. He is survived by his wife, the former Muriel Lloyd, to whom he was married June 26, 1940, at Black Jack, and by daughters Mrs. Ronald (Gail) Foley, Collinsville, and Janet Mersinger, at home. He is also survived by a sister, Veronica Mersinger of Troy, and brothers Oscar Mersinger, Joseph Mersinger and Adrian Mersinger, all of Troy, and Ludolph Mersinger, Collinsville.

Mr. Mersinger was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Black Jack. A funeral Mass will be said in the church at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Rev.

Joseph V. Dineen officiating. Friends may call at the Edwards Funeral Home, Troy, after 2 p.m. Wednesday, and brief services will be held there at 9 a.m. Thursday.

Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Black Jack. Ruby Johnson Pallbearers at the funeral of Ruby Johnson, 65, were Nathaniel Nelson, John Nelson, Clarence Nelson, Hubie Nelson, Lorenzo Nelson and Emural Nelson. Servies for Mrs. Johnson Monday in Wesley AME Chapel.

Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery. Pletcher Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Mayme Whyers Pallbearers at funeral services for Mrs. Mayme Whyers were Harry Gustine, Louis Hunt, Paul Nirsch, Glen Whyers and Lester Whyers. Services were Monday afternoon in the Weber Funeral Home.

Burial was in Ingersoll Cemetery near Fosterburg. Durward Lamb Services for Durward Lamb were Saturday in the Williamson Funeral Home in Worden. Burial was in the city cemetery. Pallbearers were Delore Daube, Gene Ashauer, Allen Daube and Tom Williamson. HILDENSTEIN in p.m.
