Atte.sC I O. A i Clerk. Ordinance 5S3. An ordinance regulating and licensing transient photographers and fixing the license fee and penalty for its violation. Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Edwardsville: Section 1.

That any resident person, firm or corporation conducting the business of photography In the City of Edwardsville shall first obtain a license from City Clerk authorizing him or them to carry on such business. Section 2. The license fee for any resident person, firm or corporation conducting the business of photography in the City of Edwardsville shall be twenty-five 2 5 0 0 dollars per year, payable on August 1st of each year. Section 3. A transient photographer, for the purpose of this ordinance, is hereby defined as an itinerant photographer, picture or view taker, coupon salesma'n, enlargement solicitor or canvasser therefore.
