Hams of Carrollton and Mr. Gayel Eugene Colliver, son of Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Colliver of Tina, were married at 8 o'clock Friday evening at the Christian church in Carrollton. The Rev.

J. Kenneth Powell performed the double ring ceremony before a background of white wrought iron candelabra holding white tapers, huckleberry and woodwardia fern, flanked by white wedding baskets of white glads, tied with white satin ribbon. Mrs. Lloyd Taylor, at the organ, accompanied Miss Martha O'Dell 8.6 she sang "Always," "Because" and "The Lord's Prayer." The bride, given in marriage by her father, was attired in a floor length gown of nylon and lace tulle fashioned with a high empress neckline, long pointed sleeves, tight fitted waist and a full net bouffant skirt over satin with wide lace panels in the front and back. Her fingertip vell, of bridal illusion, fell from a lace crown which was accented with seed pearls and little pearl drops.

The bridal bouquet was a white satin covered Bible topped with a white orchid, stephanotis and sweetheart roses and backed with camells foliage and knotted streamers of white shower ribbon. Miss Darla June Blevins, Carrollton, was maid of honor. She was attired in a pink net and taffeta formal, She carried a French nosegay of pink sweetheart roses and her headdress was of pink sweatheart roses and back streamers of pink satin ribbon. Miss Judy McClure, Carrollton, and Miss Barbara White, Carrollton were bridesmaids. They were attired in pink net and taffeta formal dresses and their bouquets and headdresses were fashioned atter that of the maid of honor.

Little Miss Mary Margaret Williams of Independence, Missouri was the flower girl. She wore 8 pink net and taffeta dress and A circlet of tiny rosebuds: In her hair. She carried a basket of rede petals. Mr. Darrell L.

Burns of Kansas City, Missouri acted as best man. Groomsmen were Mr. John Deitch of Tina, Missouri and Mr. Willard Todd of Kansas City, Missouri. Ushers were John Dale Williams, Carrollton, Gary Colliver, Tina; Travis Sanders, Independence, and Howard Baker, Tina.

Mrs. Williams chose a navy blue crepe dress for her daughter's wedding. Her accessories were pink and navy and her corsage WAS of pink rosebuds. The groom's mother chose a blue crepe dress with blue and white accessories. Her corsage was of pink rosebuds.

Miss Sharon Lea Neal of Orrick had charge of the guest book. Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the church parlor. Charles McCarthy of Sturges was honored with party by 18 friends and relatives, who gathered Tuesday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. McCarthy in Sturges, The occasion was the honoree's birthday anniversary. The evening was spent in visiting. Refreshments of home-made ice cream, cake and coffee were servd.

Orville Allen and daughter, Betty; Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Lindsey, Mr. and Mrs. Darraid Hutchinson, Mrs.

Bulah Mast, Janie and Paul Von Seggern. The evening was spent in visiting and singing Christmas carols. Mr Lindsey and Janie Von Seggern entertained with several piano selections. The employees presented Mr. and Mrs.

Von Seggern with Christmas present. Maple Leaf O.E.S. Chapter Installs Officers On Thursday evening, December 4, in an open installation, Maple Leaf Chapter No. 284, O.ES. of Meadville, officers for 1959 were installed.

Preceding installation the Bible was opened by Mrs. Estelle Allen, Conductress. The invocation was given by the Rev. Morton Holman and the Lord's Prayer was repeated in unison. Worthy Patron Gerald Strauch led the pledge to the United States flag.

Mrs. Dora Mable Norman, Worthy Matron, and Gerald Strauch welcomed the members and guests. Mrs. Norman presented gifts to the outgoing officers, Mrs. Norman introduced the installing officer; Installing Matron Mrs.

Birthday Party Honors Vickie and Robin Ingraham Mrs. Victor Ingraham entertained last night with a birthday party at the Courtesy room of the Citizens National Bank honoring her daughters, Vickle and Robin, on their tenth and fifth birthdays. and Mrs Fred Tucker and Mr. and Mrs. Harry Glover. Church Notes Altar Guild Has Christmas Party in Winans Home The annual Christmas party of the Episcopal church was held last night in the home of Mrs. Ralph Winans.

Eleven members and three guests, Mrs. Mildred Wright, Mrs. Raymond Girdner and Miss Susan Chamberlin, were present. A short business meeting was held. Games were played and there was an exchange of gifts.

Gifts on behalf of the officers were presented to Mrs. Norman and Mr. Strauch by Mrs. Virginia Windels and Howard Norman. In a clever ceremony, Mrs.

Bessie Schuetz; Adah, Mrs. Bernice McCampbell; Ruth, Mrs. Goldie Barnette; Esther, Mrs. Edythe McIntosh; Martha, Mrs Goldie Templeman; Mrs Laura Carrier; Warder, Mrs. Ethel Harvey; Sentinel, Ray Carpenter.

As she was installed in the East, a song, was sung to Mrs. Allen by Mrs. Norman. Tables in the dining room were decorated attractively with silver and pink decorations and Christmas greenery. Mrs.

Edythe Intosh and Mrs. Vernetta Slaughter presided at punch bowls. Variouts kinds of cookles, sandwiches and mints were served. Rev. Norman Arbo pronounced the benediction.
