a The Pensacola Journal Monday, June 18, 1973 Deaths WATERS HIBBERT FUNERAL HOME JAMES G. CRONKITE James G. Cronkite, 94 Rt. 9. Box 293, Pensacola, died at the Veterans Hospital in Biloxi, Miss.

Wednesday afternoon. He was a native or Brooktyn, N. Y. but was a resident of Pensacola for number of years. He was a Spanish War veteran.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Edith B. Cronkite, Pensacola; a sister, Mrs. John G. Loizeaux, of Plainview, N.

and several nieces and nephews. Graveside funeral services will be conducted Monday morning at 10:30 at Barrancas National Cemetery with Military Honors. Waters Hibbert is In charge of arrangements. FELIPE TRUJILLO Felipe Trujillo, 80, of 4024 Mobile died in a local hospital early Saturday morning. He was 8 native of Albuquerque, N.M., but had resided in Pensacola for the past four years.

He was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church in Bellvlew. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Rosa Trujillo; a son, Julian Trujillo and daughter Mrs. Della Hudson, all of Pensacola; a brother Amelio Trujillo of Santa Fe, N.M.; a sister Mrs.

GuadaJupe Fernandez of Wilder, Idaho; grandchildren en and 8 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Monday 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Waters Hibbert Funeral Home with Rev. Father Donat Chatigny officiating. Pallbearers will be Woody Edwards, Martin Sharron, Abey Chavers, Eddie Archuleta, Paul Archuleta and Ross Zang.

Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery. Waters Hibbert Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. FISHER-POU FUNERAL SERVICE ROBERT WAYNE MCCRORY Robert Wayne McCrory, 33, of 5411 Salem Hill Drive, Austin, Texas, died Friday morning in a local hospital. Mr.

McCrory was a native of Pensacola and had been a resident of Austin for past 2 years. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the American Legion and was a former civil service employe at the Pensacola Naval Air Station. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Carol Donaway McCrory; three daughters, Miss Deborah Lynn McCrory, Miss Linda Sue McCrory and Miss Cynthia Gail McCrory: one son, Ricky William McCrory, all of Austin, Texas; his father, E. H.

McCrory of Pensacola; two brothers, E. H. McCrory and Vernon W. (Bodie) McCrory, both of Pensacola; three sisters, Mrs. Floyce Bridges and Mrs.

Beth Tyson, both of Pensacola, and Mrs. Carolyn Kreutzer of Camp Hill, and his grandmother, Mrs. Ina McCrory of Frisco City, Ala. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday in the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at Jackson and Streets with Elders Thomas Talbert and Bruno Rogers officiating.

The body will be moved to the church at 1 p.m. Monday. Active pallbearers are Ken Olsen, Gary Stevens, Steve Stevens, Richard McCrory, Mike McCrory and Larry Robinson. Burial will be In St. Johns Cemetery with Chaplain L.

W. Van Tassel officiating with military honors. Fisher-Pou Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements. MRS. KATHERINE MCNAB COWLEY Mrs.

Katherine McNab Cowley, 86, of 1200 W. Mallory died Saturday afternoon in a local hospital. She was a native of Glasgow, Scotland and had resided in Pensacola the past 50 years. She was the widow of the late George D. Cowley and a member of the First Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include one son, G. Dudley Cowley of Pensacola and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Monday in Fisher-Pou Chapel with the Rev. Robert Fernandez officiating.

The family requests that flowers be omitted. Burial will be in Bayview Memorial Park with Fisher-Pou Funeral Service directing. Pallbearers will be Erik Aberg, Edwin M. Hacker, Tyson E. Livingston, Darrel O.

Roden, William A. Zimmern and Robert Pyle. LEONARD FRANKLIN HANKS Leonard Franklin Hanks, 61, of 4202 W. Jackson street, died Sunday morning In a local hospital. He was a native and life-long resident of Escambia County and a member of the Baptist Church.

Survivors Include his widow, Mrs. Glayds Hanks Jimmy of Pensacola; two sons, Cmdr. B. Hanks of NAS Point Mugu, Calif. and PFC David Glenn Hanks of Ft.

Sill, two daughters, Mrs. Connie Faye Cramer of San Diego, Calif. and Mrs. Janie G. Castillo of New York City; two brothers, Thomas F.

Hanks Jr. and Ralph W. Hanks, both of Pensacola; four sisters, Mrs. Emma Jordan, Mrs. Alyne Hardy, Mrs.

Helen Swank and Mrs. Hilda Chamberlain, all of Pensacola and eight grandchildren. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Fisher-Pou Chapel with the Rev. Donald M.

Cox officiating. Pallbearers will be nephews, Johnny Swank, Jimmy Swank, Eddie Beck, Larry Beck, Tommy Hanks and Bobby Jordan. She was a native of Barber County, a resident of Pensacola the past 58 years and a member of the First Assembly of God Church.

VOY LLOYD (Tex) STROTHER Voy Lloyd (Tex) Strother, 52, of 502 Navarre Gulf Breeze, died Saturday afternoon in a local hospital.

He was a native of Oakdale, and had lived in Gulf Breeze for the past nine years. He was a member of the Gulf Breeze United Methodist Church. He was employed by the Texaco Refinery in Port Arthur, for 23 years, a retired paint contractor and a veteran of World War II. Survivors include his widow. Mrs.

Irene Strother of Gulf Breeze; two daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Gray and Miss Coil Anne Strother of Gulf Breeze: two sons, Jack Strother of Gulf Breeze and Micheal Eric Strother of Washington. D.C.; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Mason Strother of Port Neches, three sisters, Mrs.

HELMS FUNERAL HOME SANDRA RAE BJORNGAARD Sandra Rae Bjorngaard, 14, 5147 Crestwood Pensacola, died Friday in a local hospital. She had resided in Pensacola for the past six years, although she was a native of Newburg, N.D. Survivors include her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Otto Bjorngaard; one brother, Merle Biorngaard; four sisters, Audrey, Lana and Valerie Biorngaard and Mrs.

Karen Sanderson, all of Pensacola; her maternal grandmother, Mrs. Leola Cato of Baghdad and her paternal grandfather, Chester Biorngaard of Minot, N.D. Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Monday at the St. Paul Lutheran Church, Pensacola, with the Rev.

ESSIE MAE JOHNSON Mrs. Essie Mae Johnson, of 1230 W. Yonge died in a local hospital. She was a member of the Antioch Baptist Church. Survivors include her widower, William Johnson Sr; two sons, William Johnson Jr.

and Robert E. Johnson; three daughters, Miss Eretha V. Johnson, Miss Jacqueline R. Johnson and Miss Sherry D. Johnson; her father, Caleb Jones her mother, Mrs.

She was a native of Beaumont, Tex. and had resided in Milton the past 14 years. She was a member of the Hickory Hammock Baptist Church. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Ernest Bradlee of Milton and J.

P. Everett of Waycross, five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday in Lewis-Sowell Chapel with the Rev. G.

Holmes of Honolulu, Hawaii. The body will be placed in the chapel of Lewis-Sowell Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 4 p.m. Monday in the First Baptist Church in Milton with a Navy chaplain officiating. Burial will be in the Milton Cemetery with full military honors at graveside.
