Manufacturers all talk about reducing their operations for the present year, so as to ma terially decrease the snpply, bat to what extent tcis will be done cannot at this time be definitely determined. The demand for the coming season depends so much upon the action of Congress in relation to tne currency and other ma ters, that no satisfactory estimate of it can be given, although the demand ror nouses In all parts or the country, was never greater, and there is a proba nitty of larger foreign shipments, particularly if prices rale low.
