In connection with the box social the Instructor, Miss Laura Kitzmlller, had a splendid'program, which was rendered by the pupils. There was a large attendance anl twenty-three boxes were sold. Thi boxes were not auctioned off, as th? usual custom, but those desiring boxes, purchased a little Santu Claus on the back of which was a mynb-r. The number on each Santa Claut corresponded with a number on a young lady's box. Fifty cents was paid for each Santa Claus.
