Potts, a young and beautiful girl of Troy, appeared Saturday in the United States District Court at Sprtagfleld, accompanied by her father Cyrus Potts of Troy, and gave bond' in the E-UIU of $1,000 for her appearance at the trial of Charlea Callen, of Highland. Callen is charged in an Indictment returned in the Federal Court with violation of the Mann act He is charged with taking Miss Potts into other states last summer for immoral purposes, the trip being made in an automobile.

A woman has also been Indicted in the ame proceeding, it being understood that she made the arrangements for Miss Potts to meet Gallon in Detroit. Thus far she has not been located and placed under arrest. Mis Potts appears on the indictment as the complaining witness, hence the action of last Saturday of bringing 1 her into court and placing her under bond to appear at the trial is rather unusual. It is said to be due to the desire on the officials to inure lier presence at tho hearing, and residents of Troy understand that of her own violation she might not cave to prosecute, but the case is really instigated by her parents. Residents, of the two communities have discussed the matter for some months.

It is said that a strange attraction existed between, the couple. Callen is a with a wife and two children, mer, It is understood that his wile notified Mrs. Potts of her suspicions that Callen was running around with Miss Pottf. and requested that the Mrs. Frank Rouhslange of Hillsboro, whose right arm was amputated last week in an effort to save her life, following an attack ot blood poisoning, died Sunday at the Hills- joro hospital.

Her condition was realized as critical and it was known only a miracle couild save her Mrs. Houhslange was washing milk bottles three weeks ago and cut her right thunub slightly on a broken bottle. She thought nothing of it and blood poisoning came as a great surprise. made every effort to save her life but nothing seemed to check the poisoning. She was born October 17, 1886 at Cayuga, Indiana, and In 1902 went to Hillboro to make her home with her mother.

Shortly after her arrival there she accepted a position as compositor in the office ot the Montgomery News. She held this position until she resigned to become the bride of Frank Rouhslange. She is survived by her husband, and three daughters, Frances, Mary and June, her mother, Mrs. Horme, two sisters and two brothers.
