The new Rivers show is the first of several offerings from the Fox Broadcasting a new independent "network." Blangiardi says that the agreement between Fox and Ihe local independent station represents "another in a series of unprecedented moves on the part of Channel 13 that will go a long way in establishing parity between KHNL and the so-called 'major' network affiliates in Hawaii." The first program will feature Elton John, David Lee Roth, Pee Wee Herman and Cher. Other guests in the first week include Whoopi Goldberg, Ted Danson, Air Supply, Joan Lun-den, Angela Lansbury, Shari Belafonte-Harper, Diahann Car-foil and Vic Damone. "We've positioned joan Rivers as counter-programming for the news, not (Johnny) Carson, which should give our market a signficant advantage," he said. 4:00 4:30 5:00 5:30 6:00 6:30 7:00 7:30 8:00 8:30 9:00 I 9:30 10:00 10:30 11:00 1 11:30 12:00 1 12:30 ED HotywoodSo, CardSharts Jeopardy NBC News Hews Wheel Fortune Cosby Shot FarniyTies Cheers Niatit Court HI Street Bfaes Nets Ent Tonight TonigM D.Lettemun fj Hotter PMMaoanne ABC Hews News Growtaak Baiebatftayofa National ICha News Taod NtghtJae Movie "JohFirectaid" 9 Oonahue Peopte'sCourl CBSNews News tl Mi Chance Swot Simon I Knots Lancing KayO'BneB News Canon NiohtHeat "SatverBears" (nj TheAmcans Mister Rogw Sesame Street Business Rpt HacKti-LehrerNewshour S.
