Four persons hurt in two-car crash A smashing rear-end collision on NE 8th Street about three- fourths of a mile south of Munter-Ferrell Road Monday afternoon has left four persons with injuries. Injured in the crash was Loren Wayne Snow, of Irving, the driver of a 1966 Chevrolet along with Loren Dane Snow, 6, Christopher Snow, 4, and Dwight Holmes. 19, of 2005 Beaumont Street, the driver of a 1961 Chevrolet involved in the accident. The accident occurred in the north-bound traffic lane as the Holmes auto had stalled in the street and the Snow vehicle struck it.

Three residents were listed as injured in a grinding collision in the intersection of NE 31st Street and Johnson Street late Monday afternoon. Injured in the two-car collision were Wayne Ray Morrow of 1210 College the driver of a 1963 Comet Nitra Williams, of 706 32nd St. and Brenda Gail Mercer of 609 NE 33rd both passengers in the Morrow vehicle. and the Morrow auto was traveling west on Johnson Street. After the collision the Morrow vehicle continued across the intersection, slammed into a utility pole and burst into flames. An auto-pedestrian accident early Monday morning left William Dale Moore, 6, of 1655 Ash listed as receiving minor injuries when he apparently ran into the path of a 1967 Chevrolet driven by James Howard Bailey of 2009 Walnut Street. The accident occurred in the intersection of NE 15th St. and Ash St.
