Moore which begins Tuesday, centers on the extortion tale of a would-be banker who has admitted defrauding customers of his bankrupt uninsured savings and loan chain, Moore, a Republican, and his former campaign manager, William Loy, are accused of conspiring to squeeze that amount from Theodore R.

Price in 1972. Moore was seeking re-election and Price wanted a state banking charter that year. Price, former president of Diversified Mountaineer Corp. DMC told a federal grand jury his story last summer after he pleaded guilty to one of 37 counts of defrauding customers last May and was sentenced to three years in prison. The story, as outlined in the indictment, is that Price gave Moore the $25,000 "in order to obtain the approval of a pending application for a state bank charter." San Francisco Bus Drivers Give Warning SAN FRANCISCO (AP) City bus drivers voted Saturday to continue honoring picket lines, but warned that if the strike is not escalated within 72 hours they will meet again to reconsider that decision. The decision temporarily averted a potentially crippling blow to the 19-day-old walkout of city crafts union members. About 700 members of the bus and trolley drivers union met behind closed doors. The vote was 10 to 1 in favor of continuing to support of the strike. However, the approval included the provision that if the Central Labor Council does not move to escalate to a general strike within 72 hours, the union would call a fourth meeting to reconsider their support.

Later, in a communique to The Associated Press, a group calling itself the "Sons of Giron Movement" claimed responsibility for the incident, which occurred on the 15th anniversary of the ill-fated invasion by exile forces.

Police said two "Molotov-cocktail type of devices" were hurled against a building where Vicente Dopico lives. He is an artist for the New York-based magazine "Areito," which has called for realistic dealings with the Communist government of Fidel Castro and has criticized recent violent activities of some exiles. Dopico, who said he had received threatening letters recently, said he and his wife were awakened by the sound of breaking glass. He said he called police after smelling gasoline. Officers said the devices failed to ignite.

A man with a Spanish accent called The AP's Miami bureau at 1:30 p.m. EST. and said a "communique about last night's bombing" could be found in the lobby. The communique said that with the incident, the movement "begins to unleash its rebellious fervor against traitors, infiltrators and Communist agents in the Cuban exile community. "The Sons of Giron Movement is the inheritor of the nearly exhausted fight against the tyrant regime of Fidel Castro," the typewritten, photocopied message said.

Each new car will be required to display a sticker listing its estimated city, highway and combined fuel economy ratings plus a range of mileage ratings for other "comparable" cars. So far, however, the Environmental Protection Agency EPA has not decided on a method for determining which cars should be grouped together for these comparable ratings. 9 to 2 MINNEAPOLIS (AP) A -judge's order that a roofing company cited for pollution must pick one of its officers to serve a 30-day jail term "will definitely be appealed," an attorney says. "It's an unprecedented decision," said Bert M. Gross, attorney for the Lloyd A. Fry Roofing Co. "I can't imagine it being upheld." Judge Robert Schumacher of Hennepin County District Court set a hearing for next week on his unusual decision Thursday in which he found the firm's Minneapolis plant had violated the city's antipollution ordinance.

Judge Schumacher imposed a $300 fine and also ordered the firm, headquartered at Summit, 111., to' produce one of its officers to serve a 30-day jail sentence.
