Mrs. Isola, mother of the bride, greeted friends wearing a street length ensemble of black, with corsage of matching gardenias, accessories while Mrs.

Donnelly, mother of the benedict, chose a navy blue costume with monotone accents and a gardenia corsage. For her wedding trip of unannounced destination, Mrs. Donnelly donned a tailored suit of RAF blue with navy accessories and a corsage of orchids. After September 3rd, Ensign and Mrs. Donnelly will reside in Livermore, where he is an instructor with the naval air corps at Wagner Field.

The bride was graduated from Modesto Junior College and is affiliated with the Young Ladies Institute and Twenty Club. Medical Officer Captain Howard F. Nachtman, who is here from the northwestern part of the country, makes his home in the Hotel Modesto. His family will join him later. Captain and Mrs. C.

Y. Hendricks and their two daughters, Peggy and Beverly, have taken a home at 611 Sixteenth Street. Captain Hendricks, who is with the engineer corps, and his family lived in China from 1923 until 1931, and were at Fort Mason in San Francisco before coming to Modesto, The Hotel Modesto the residence of Lieutenant Sylvester Cunningham, who is with the quartermaster corps. K. Myklebust. formerly of San Francisco, have taken home at College Avenue. Lieutenant Myklebust, who is with the medical administrative lived in Longview, Wash, corps, and his wife is a San Franciscan. At 1804 Morris Avenue is located the new home of Lieutenant and Mrs.

He was graduated from Modesto Junior College, and is associated with his father in business. He is a member of the Stanislaus Sailing Club. Phillips. Eagles' Auxiliary Holds Initiation The Eagles' auxiliary held a meeting Tuesday evening in the Jewish Community Mrs. Ruth Rowe, vice president, presided. Formal initiation ceermonies were held followed by a business meeting. Immediately afterwards, refreshments were served.

Captain Schroeder announced the corps will be open for enlistment from now until September 21st.

Those interested in joining may see Captain Schroeder at the Red Croes Chapter House, 1122 Fourteenth Street, between 2 and o'clock on Wednesday afternoons, or call 1840 or 3737 for appointments. A candidate must be an American citizen, furnish a certificate of normal health, must be an experienced driver with a good record, and hold A valid driver's license. She must hold also a standard first aid certificate and be willing to respond to all calls. A minimum of 100 hours a year is expected, and the period of enlistment will be for one year only with the privilege of longer service if desired. A standard first aid class will be organized immediately for those wishing to enlist in the motor corps.

For her flower girl, the bride elect has chosen her cousin, Coralu Triplett. Ensign Cowdrey has chosen Maynard Smith for best man and the ushers will be Messrs. Bill McRean Is Honored At Party Adding theirs to the long list of farewell parties this Summer, Miss Luana McMath and Bryant Blodgett entertained Wednesday evening in honor of Bill McRean, who soon will join the United States Navy.

Diversion for the evening WAS provided by a scavenger hunt and the making of home recordings.
