To stimulate a greater awareness among students, school personnel and parents of the rich multicultural society of Hawaii. 2. To assist educationally deprived children improve their level of academic achievement commensurate with their ability.

3. To provide ESAA project teachers with the opportunity to better understand the significant cultural characteristics influencing the behavior, attitudes and values of the children. 4. To improve the relevancy of curricula, teaching methods, and activities for handicapped by cultural and geographic isolation. The meeting will be conducted by the ESAA State Advisory Council of Hawaii, Marilyn Spencer, Chairperson.
