Barbara Jean Lopes, 30, died yesterday at the Queen's Medical Center of accidents suffered in a New Year's Eve automobile accident. Police said Mrs. Lopes, of 2004 Democrat was injured when her car struck a utility pole on Kamehameha Highway near Laumaka Street. Her death raised Oahu's 1968 traffic fatality toll to 110. Helen Koiid Woman's In juries Fatal KEALAKEKUA, Hawaii A 26-year-old Kona woman died in the Kona Hospital yesterday of injuries suffered when she was struck by a car. Shirley Kamigaki, of Ho-naunau, suffered head injuries and fractured legs Tuesday afternoon when she was struck by a car driven by Alfred Medeiros 41, of Hookena. Medeiros and two witnesses told investigators that Miss Kamigaki, who was walking along the side of the highway, apparently jumped in front of his vehicle as he drove past her in Honaunau. The accident was the Big Island's seventh traffic fatality of the year, compared to nine last year this time. Miss Kamigaki, a student at the Kona Craft Center, was the daughter of Mr.
