To herald the opening, a one-hour satellite-delay TV special will be beamed to Island audiences at 8 p.m. -By WAYNE HARADA Advertiser Entertainment Editor LAS VEGAS It'll be a regular Hawaiian opening with leis of aloha, naturallywhen Danny Kaleikini makes his Las Vegas debut tonight at the prestigious Caesars Palace. Kaleikini, headliner at the Kahala Hilton's Hala Terrace, opens a two-week engagement as the warmup Polynesian act for singer Paul Anka. The Island baritone has beefed up his regu ane Edwards, and Kalei-nani Kahoonei.

NALANI OLDS, Island soprano who alternates on the Kaleikini show, will also appear on the bill. Kaleikini's regular musicians, headed by Jimmy Kaopuiki, also are here for the kiki's steady draws, the Caesars Palace gig is an opportunity for him to expose his Hawaiian revue on a grand scale. His cast of Polynesian dancers will include his regulars, Joan Albao, Leilani Patranek and Les'lie Fer-nandes, and three additional girls, Liana Petranek, Di M.iiwi:ii;tim!:ii:mmi:raii' today Hawaii time, pro-" duced by NBC-TV's Hawaii affiliate, KHON-TV. THE PROGRAM will devote nearly 30 minutes to Kaleikini's onstage performance at Caesars, and the remainder will feature him in and around the club and this set-in-the-desert gambling capital of Ameri ca. About 500 Honolulans flew to Las Vegas on charter flights yesterday, to bring Island cheer to Kaleikini's opening.
