John's Evangelical church, it WM decided that a new church is to be built, the present one not being large enough tor the congregation which has been steadily growing, The new building is to be at their present tlte on Sixth street and Penning avenue, and IB to be in dimension, 10 by 73. It has been de- elded that matt brick and tile will be used in the construction ot the building, A financial of the church to be made before anything further is done in regard to the starting of the church. An estimate was presented Ot $16,000. This would be the coat ot the building not including the heating system, electric light fixtures or other furnishings. Convention at Alton Yesterday, Mrs.
