He then showed pictures explaining in detail, while traveling througn Minnesota, being accompanied by Mrs. Whitten. Among the scenes was Lake ItoJJka. where the Mlsslsslpp river begins, the waters from several small springs starting on a 2500- mile Journey, passing by Alton and ending ot the Gulf of Mexico. The pictures and explanation brought forth marked attention.

The Rev. Whitten said he was planning on a trip to Yellowstone park and the Black hills, next summer, and would take pictures while there and atoo hinted that next year he would be pleased to come out and show them some time. His talk was along humorous lines, which went over big. in the room count, the honors went to Miss Erlene Owsley. A North Side, trio, "The Three of Us.
