The Bank of Hawaii yesterday announced a 20.1 per cent increase in net operating profits for 1966 and added that year end assets topped the half billion dollar mark. Planning Director Frank Skrivanek had recommended AAA zoning minimum lotsbecause of the limited capacity of a temporary sewage treatment plant serving the subdivision. The commission overruled Skrivanek's suggestion on grounds that their decisions should be based on best land use instead of sewer facilities. Skrivanek did not oppose the commission vigorously. He told commissioners the AA zoning would be better than existing, classification of rural protective, which permits subdivision into 5,000 square foot lots. xThe director said he was concerned about some of the larger lots in the subdivision being further subdivided and overtaxing the sewer plant.

However, he said his office could reject applications for subdivision, even though the developer told buyers they could subdivide.
