In I960 he was transferred to Fresno'where he was given a similar assignment for two years. Subsequent moves took him to Sacramento and Salinas. He and his wife, Tina, attended the College of Sequoias in 1950 and 1951, and were active in the. school's music and drama departments. Kiesner joined the company here two years ago as an assistant manager. Last June he was promoted to c o m m e r c i a l manager in Fresno. Perry PEVELOPMENT Shop Center Purchase Is Under Way The sale of the Farmers Market of Fresno, a shopping center at Divisadero and Tulare Streets, to Howard Morf of Santa Barbara is scheduled for consummation tomorrow _ ' at 2 PM. G. C. Appleton, the president of the market corporation, said'the sale and lease back of the property will approximate $750,000. The lease will be for 10 years with an option to renew. The center was opened in 1948 and has 21 tenants whose leases will continue. Kenneth H. Smith, the con-, troller, is handling the escrow negotiations. Appleton said his corporation will continue to operate the center and has plans for redevelopment and expansion of the property.
