The series is nearly over and the most successful schedule ever run oil' in the regiment is now history.

Interest has kept up throughout Tbi-ries, and the attendance at the league games has averaged well over two hundred men per ganfe. The umpires were selected from the players of the teams, and their work has been very satisfactory. The game have been orderly and the contestants sportsmanlike in all their contests. The Second Game The Twenty-fifth played big league bail in several spots yesterday. Water-house pitched a fine game, except for a i-oitj le of innings, and Janssen must also be given credit lor good work on he mound, albeit the score does not suggest the need of anything of the kind. The trouble wasn't that Janssen wasn't pitching but that the soldiers were hitting. Kogan came through with two homers and had a couple of hits chalked up agamst him beside.

Johnson, Smith and doliah also helped the ball rotably along. The Schofiehl Barracks crowd rolled np three at the first essay with the club. Kogan. homed to right. Johnson singled to left and was scored by Smith's three-bagger.
