deep pleat down the front Over it she will wear a velvet coat lined in taffeta She said Moore was picked because Mrs Johnson heard about him and asked him to submit sketches which she approved The first lady's gown has a bateau neckline and small wing capped sleeves The dress has a raised waistline and a slight fullness flowing to the back By Helen Thomas WASHINGTON UPI Mrs Lyndon Johnson will wear a classic jonquil yellow heavy satin gown with a matching floor length evening coat cuffed in sable to the inaugural balls the White House announced last night The first lady's ensemble was created by New York designer John Moore a native of Oklahoma who grew up in Texas He now is one of the leaders in America's fashion industry The daughters also will be on parade that night Lynda Bird 20 will wear a white silk gown and a double breasted white ottoman silk coat with rhinestone buttons and white accessories Black haired Luci 17 picked a rose petal pink satin dress with beaded bodice a scoop neckline and a gently full skirt She will wear matching pink shoes long white gloves and the new pearl earrings her mother gave her for Christmas The second lady of the country Mrs Hubert Humphrey wife of the vice president elect' selected a gown of sheer ribbon lace in varied blue and lavender tones with a matching full length collar-less coat by Count Sarmi a New York designer formerly of Italian royalty Mrs Johnson was looking for a gown that had and understated said her press secretary Elizabeth Carpenter "She hopes she came close to it She feels it is a joyous She wanted
