Mrs. Alice Hargraves, Seattle, POLITICAL ADVERTISEMENT POLITICAL ADVERTISEMENT POLITICAL ADVERTISEMENT VOTE FOR S. H. MacPEAK Republican Candidate for CLERK OF DISTRICT COURT Dear Friends: It has been my conscientious effort to give you something more than satisfactory service as your Clerk of Court and I believe that inquiry on your part will verify that the office has functioned satisfactorily and efficiently. There has been some comment to the effect that I have been in the office too long.

If such a theory is good, then isn't it just as logical to say that the farmer, businessman and employe should desert their present pursuits and go into some other line? If you have a capable servant or employe, you do not dismiss him merely because of his length of service. He knows your needs; has proved his faithfulness; he is a known quantity. Regardless of the outcome of this election, I want you to know that I appreciate, sincerely, your very kind support and confidence in the past and I hope that you may see fit to port me in this primary. Yours very truly, S. H.
