Wo have had throughout Hie past week only a very limited demand for American cotton, bat as cotton baa been only sparingly offered, very full prices have been maintained. Egyptians and Brazils have been steady, the reduced stocks rendering extensive operations impracticable. Surats have been well supported. Speculators have taken 2,400 bales of American and 300 bales of Surat cotton, and 360 bales of American have been sold for export. The total sales for the week amount to 18,130 bales, 130 SeaIslandB.md.20d.
