Dave was the vice-president and general manager of Riemer Brothers, an earth moving contractor widi brother George Sr. and nephews, George )r. and Conrad. Dave was also a member of Park Ridge Lodge A.F. A.M..

Scottish Rite and Medinah Temple for 38 years. He served in die Army for diree and a half years during World War II, discharged as a Captain. Dave was a motor transport officer who trained mechanics, drivers and operators for all types of transportation and heavy equipment. His tour consisted of the continental United States and the European-African Middle totem Thcalre. The European tour was dirccdy under General Eisenhower.

He was awarded die Bronze Battle Slai, American Campaign and World War II Victory Medal. He is survived by bis wife of 65 years, Alma LV. (nee Johnson); his sons, Jeff and Lee; his grandchildren, Justin and Rcnec; and by his sisters, Lydia, Sue and Dorothy. Dave was preceded in death by his parcnis.
