With everyone from an Academy Award-winner to an Easy Rider to a starship captain on board for this year's expo, there's plenty for Chiller attendees to get excited about even if they're on the guest list themselves. "I'm a big fan, so I'm dying to get, you know, Ann-Margret's signed photo and other people that are going to be there, it'll be nice," said "Wayne's World" (1992) and "True Lies" (1994) actress and singer Tia Carrere, one of more than 75 guests scheduled to appear at Chiller over the weekend. "I did a couple of songs with Peter Fonda, and I found in my archive an old photo of he and I from the movie that we did (1990's "Fatal Mission"), so I'm going to give him some and I'll have some. (Chiller) sounded like a fun thing to do and I'm going to be doing it with one of my best friends, (Playboy playmate and "Growing Pains" actress) Julie (McCullough), so that'll be great," Carrere said. Headlining this year's Chiller Expo is actress Ann-Margret A two-time Academy Award-nominee (for 1972's "Carnal Knowledge" and 1976's "Tommy"), Margret is also known for her work in films such as the 1964 Elvis Presley classic "Viva Las Vegas" and the 1963 movie-musical "Bye Bye Birdie," and she will be joined at Chiller by her husband, "77 Sunset Strip" actor Roger Smith. Margret is not the only Oscar nominee scheduled to appear at Chiller; also on hand will be "Easy Rider" (1969) star and co-writer Peter Fonda and "The Exorcist" star Linda Blair, along with Oscar honoree Mickey Rooney and winner Richard Dreyfuss. Along with legends of the silver screen, Chiller will also welcome plenty of television stars, including "Star Trek: The Next Generation" leading man Patrick Stewart, "Gilligan's Island" co-star Dawn Wells, Barbara Feldon of "Get Smart" and Joanna Cassidy from "Six Feet Under." For those who want to take in plenty of rock n' roll tricks and treats over Halloween weekend, there's sure to be plenty of hard-rocking tunes at Chiller, as musical guests include New York Dolls frontman David Johansen, former Kiss and Meat Loaf guitarist and current Grand Funk Railroad axeman Bruce Kulick, Secaucus-based retro-rock outfit Dead Elvi and a trio of former members of Lodi-bred horror punk pioneers, the Misfits: guitarists Bobby Steele and Franche' Coma and drummer Mr. Jim.
