Splash Party Fetes Five Catholic High Seniors A buffet supper and 1 splash party honored five members of the 1962 graduating class of Catholic High School. The party was held Saturday, at 6:30 p.m.. until 10 p.m. Supper was served on the terrace of the Officers' Club swimming pool at Maxwell AFB. The "Splash Party" followed.

Honorees were Carla Pool, Cormier, Kathy Hess, Janyce White, and Joan McCann. Hosts were the parents of the honorees. Col. and Mrs. George G.

White. Col. and Mrs. John McCann, Maj. and Mrs.

William A. Hess, Lt. Col. and Mrs. Fain H.

Pool, Lt. Col. and Mrs. Victor C. Conway, and Col.

and Mrs. Lionel J. Cormier. Entertainment for the evening included a "Treasure Dive," "Watermelon i water relay races, and exhibition diving. The school colors of gold and blue were used on the buffet table.

A centerpiece of Dutch iris, yellow pompons and glads sea shells, was accented, table was covered with a safron cloth draped with fishing nets. Members of the senior class from Catholic High were guests. They were John Brannon, Ralph Chrietzberg, Deanie Clark, Non- ie Crowder, Pete Derrick, Donna Dillion, Jo Ann Fike, Philip Graves, Jim Jehle, Kathy Jehle, Sandy Karker, Kathleen Laun, n. Wanda Lavinghouse, John Luken, Jim McDowell, Doug McElvy, Don Reed, Buck Richardson, Paul Shulstead, Jim Smith, Marguerite Smart, Mary Whitley, Mary Ethel Wilson, and Andy Zerbe. Special guests were the Rev.

Bernard Powell, principal at Catholic High, and the Rev. Pat O'Connor. Miss Janet Casha, faculty members. Other guests were Bill Ekiss, Steve Sanders, Doug Marshall, Pat Murray, Mary Ann Donaldson, Ann Adams, Dave Goodman, STORK St. Margaret's Hospital Mr.

ALABAMA FRANCES JOHNSON ALICE DAVIS To Be Wed Wed of Logton, announce the engagement of their daughter, Alice, to Robert W. Williford, son of Mr. and Mrs. William B. Williford, of Troy.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Messick, of Brantley, and of Mrs. Sara Castleberry and the late Jim Davis, of Troy. The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr.

and Mrs. Luther H. Griffin of Troy, and of Mrs. Annie Scarbrough Williford, and the late Henry Clay Williford, of Troy. Miss Davis is presently employed with a Troy law firm.

Mr. Williford is on the student personnel staff at Troy State College. The marriage will take place June 2, at Murphy's Chapel Church, at 4 p.m. GLENDA GANOUS Betrothed Betrothed of Geneva High School, and atton, College, tended in NewClarke, College, in Birmingham. Mr.

Faulk, is also a graduate of Geneva High School, and attended Massey Draughon, in Montgomery. The marriage will take place Aug. 4, in the Westview Baptist Church. Ganous-Linder GENEVA Mr. and Mrs.

Mike Ganous, of Geneva, announce the engagement of their daughter, Glenda, to Harold Linder, of Montgomery, son of William Linder and the late Mrs. Gladys Linder of Samson. Miss Ganous is a graduate of Geneva High School, and is attending Massey Draughon Business College, in Montgomery. Mr. Linder is a graduate of Samson High School, and is attending Alabama Christian College, majoring in Bible.

The marriage will take place June 2, at 8 p.m. in the Westend Church of Christ in Geneva. Brunch To Fete Kathleen Laun Miss Kathleen Laun, member of the '62 graduating class of Catholic High School, will be honored today, when Mrs. Larry McGinn and Mrs. Michael McGinn will entertain in the home of the former on Holly Ridge Drive.

Mrs. Bob Laun, mother of the honoree, will assist in greeting the guests, who will be registered by Beth McGinn, The following will attend the pre-graduate party: Miss Wanda Lavinghouse, Miss Deanie Clark, Miss Vicky Conay, Miss Donna Corminer, Miss Nonie Crowder, Miss Donna Dillon. Harry Idell was installed president. Mrs. Robert T. Rice made arrangements for the luncheon, the final meeting of the fiscal club-year. Thirteen members were present.
