Sept. 21, 1957 ana cu General WMS of First Baptist Has Installation Installation of officers was held when General WMS of First Baptist Church met yesterday afternoon at the church. Twentynine members were present. The opening hymn, Is the Theme," was led by Mrs. R.

W. D. Tompson. was decided to increase the price of the quarterly WMU dinner to 75 cents. Mrs.

Tompson announced a Mrs. John Simmons of Clinton will teach the year book al the Associational WMU meeting in Hunts- villc Sept. 24. Program en Pakistan Mrs. Roy Bunlin, counselor for the Evelyn Stanford Circle, presented a program on Pakistan.

She displayed a map i showed why this country is sometimes called a geographic freak, because it is composed of two widely separated ports, one to the extreme northwest and other to the extreme northeast ot India. She also explained the difference between the two ports and told that the language of the two ports is not the same. Mrs. Bill Wilson presented a devotional from Matthew Mrs. Tompson conducted an installation for new officers, using the theme, "Let Our Lights So Shine," with scripture from Matthew.

The New Officers Mrs. Tompson used one of her paintings in illustrating how the new officers might "let their lights so shine." New officers are: President, Mrs. Wray Richardson; vice- president, Mrs. Bruce Daniels; second vice-president, Mrs. Marion Lamb; recording secretary, Mrs.

She also reviewed a chapter from the book, "Every Day in Religious Living" by Joseph Fort Newton, titled "The Lord's Prayer." Refreshments were served.

The next home meeting will be Oct. 18 in the home of Mrs. Harry Voth, 021 Oilman road, with Mrs. Noel, Mrs. Maddox and Mrs.

The annual family picnic for Eagles and their families will he held in Eagles Hall tomorrow in ease of rain.
