THE HARTFORD COL'RANT TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 1 1, 2001 B7 DEATH NOTICES DEATH NOTICES DEATH NOTICES DEATH NOTICES DEATH NOTICES DEATH NOTICES MILLER, Carmela (Cappe) Carmela (Cappe) Miller, of Rocky Hill, passed away on Sunday, (September 9, 2001) with her devoted husband of 55 years, her children and grandchildren by her side. Born in Hartford, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Mary (DeVito) Cappe. She lived in Hartford most of her life before moving to Rocky Hill in 1985. She leaves behind a legacy of unselfish love and caring. She will be missed by all that were fortunate enough to have been touched by her over the 80 wonderful years of her life.

It is a fitting tribute to her love of all her grandchildren that she started her journey to eternal rest on Grandparent's Day. She was an avid card player for more than 60 years and leaves many fond mem ories and good triends. carmela leaves behind her husband, Ed; her daughter, Debbie Murdock and Pete Skoczylas of South Mer-iden; her sons and daughters-in-law, Eddie and Donna Miller of Enfield, and Steve and Hope Miller of Enfield; her grandchildren, Scott and Parker Miller, Kim Miller, Kevin and Tara Miller, Dave and Stephanie (Miller) Tullock, Steve and Keri Miller, and Jennifer and Melissa Murdock; seven and a half great grandchildren, Saman-tha, Jessica, Jordan, Ashley, Alex, Camden, Nicholas, and soon to arrive, Emily; and a brother, Godfrey Cappe. She was predeceased by her sister, Elsie Scata. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 12, 9:15 a.m., at Rose Hill Funeral Home, 580 Elm Rocky Hill, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 10 a.m., at St.

James Church. Burial will immediately follow in Rose Hill Memorial Park. Calling hours are TODAY, Sept. p.m., at the funeral home. Donations in Carmela's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 538 Preston PO Box 1004, Meriden, CT 06450.

The Miller family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to all the nurses on the 8th floor at St. Francis Hospital. NELSON, Jonathan B. "Dusty" Jonathan B. "Dusty" Nelson, 53, of Bolton, formerly of Manchester, loving husband of Catherine (Shannon) Nelson, died Sunday, (September 9, 2001) at Manchester Memorial Hospital.

He was born in Hartford, March 12, 1948, son of the late John O. Nelson and Dorothy (Chindmark) Nelson and had lived in Manchester, before moving to Bolton in 1987. Dusty was a salesman for 33 years, for Si-moniz USA Bolton, formerly Syndet Products, before retiring in 1 999. He was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church, the Manchester Lodge No. 73 and the Connecticut Car Wash Association.

Besides his wife, Catherine; he is survived by a sister, Lynn Hjelmstad and her husband. Douglas of Conway, NH; a brother, Richard J. Nelson and his wife, Patricia of Manchester; nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Kathleen Longo and her husband, Joseph Longo. Dusty was "Poppy" to Scott, Austin, Ma-rissa Longo and Michael and Christopher Anderson. He is also survived by aunts and cousins.

Dusty put up a courageous battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his many, many wonderful family members and friends, who gave him the strength to continue his fight. Funeral services will be Wednesday, September 12, 11 a.m. at Emanuel Lutheran Church, 60 Church Street, Manchester. Burial will be in East Cemetery, Manchester.

DeQuattro Community Cancer Center, 71 Haynes Street Manchester, CT 06040. ROBERGE. Toni (Bissonette) Toni (Bissonette) Roberge, 38, of Lebanon, died on Monday, (September 3, 2001) at New Britain General Hospital. Born Oct. 16, 1962, in Sacramento, CA.

She was Lebanon resident Survivors include her daughter, Rachel Bissonette of Lebanon; her mother, Carol (Mack) Baily of New Britain; her brother, Robert Lagomarsino and his family in California; her sister. Tammy Stewart and her family in British Columbia, Canada; her maternal grandmother, Dorothy Mack in California. Among Toni's family, who will miss her, she will also be greatly missed by her boyfriend, Keith Cwikla; and her three dogs, "Merlin" and "Trior. ROJAS, Sarah Sarah Rojas, 77, of East Hartford died on Sunday, (September 9, 2001) at Manchester Manor. Born in Cuba she had lived in New York City, NY until moving to East Hartford five years ago. Sarah is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Al and Carmen Torres of Manchester; her granddaughter, Stephanie Torres; three sisters, Disais Gomez, Luz Rojas and Nersa Iglesias and her brother, Alfredo Rojas.

Funeral service will be held on Friday at 11:30 a.m. from the John F.Tierney Funeral Home, 219 West Center Manchester followed by a Mass of Resurrection at 12 Noon at the Church of the Assumption with burial in Silver Lane Cemetery, East Hartford. SARNER, Bertha M. (Wolfert) Bertha M. (Wolfert) Sarner, 93, beloved wife of the late Glenn K. Sarner, died on Monday, (September 9, 2001) at the Shel-ton Lakes Health Care Center. Born in Sauk Centre, MN, August 29, 1908, She was a daughter of the late John and Helen (Kowalkowski) Wolfert.

Mrs. Sarner was a former resident of Colchester, Marlborough, Chicago, IL and Ft. Lauderdale, FL. She will be remembered as a great and loving mother, who enjoyed celebrating many special occasions with her family. Bertha was very creative and lovedto crochetandsharethe crafts that she made with her family.

She loved the outdoors and enjoyed many happy hours gardening. Mrs. Sarner was a longtime member of the Westchester Congregational Church in Colchester, where she sang in the choir. She was also a very active member of the Colchester Senior Center. Survivors include two daughters, Shirley M.

Kosan of Bridgeport, Marion J. Kane of Harvard, IL," a son. Bill Sarner and his wife, Geral-dine of Lebanon; three sisters, Mable Byrne of Winter Haven, FL, Marie Nieweem of LaCrosse, WI, Florence Zippe of Elksgrove, IL; 13 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and 17 great great grandchildren. In addition to her husband of 74 years, she was predeceased by a son. Earl C.

TOURVILLE, Frances Jean (Chambers) Frances Jean (Chambers) Tour-ville, 71, of Brett Lane, Enfield, passed away on Sunday, (September 9, 2001) at Blair Manor where she has been a resident for two years. She was born on March 14, 1930, in Uniontown, PA. Frances moved to Enfield in 1958 after marrying, where she resided for 42 years. She was a devoted wife and mother, a member of the Library Society, Woman's Auxiliary Club and a communicant of St. Bernard's Church in Enfield.

She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Joseph C. Tour-ville; two sons, Joseph F. Tourville of Enfield and ThomasG.Tourville and his wife, Stacy of Manchester; four daughters, Paula Sabonis and her husband, William of East Windsor, Deborah Neal of Chico-pee, MA, Elizabeth Glasper of East Hartford, and Laura Tourville of Enfield; a brother, Eugene Chambers and his wife, Barbara of Uniontown, PA; a sister, Marie Zavat-son and her husband, Joseph of Sterling, VA; a brother-in-law, William Tourville and his wife, Betty of Springfield, MA; two sisters-in-law, Margaret Matroni of Easthampton, MA and Joanne Tourville of South Hadley, MA; 16 loving grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Frances' funeral will be Thursday, September 13, 9:45 a.m. from the Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Enfield, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St.

Bernard's Church at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be at St. Thomas' Cemetery in West Springfield, MA at the convenience of the family. Frances' family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, September 12, 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels.

LEIKHIM, Margaret Ann 33r 1 Margaret Ann "Peggy" Leik-him, 64, of Albany Avenue, West Hartford, died on Saturday, (September 8, 2001) at St. Mary's Home in West Hartford. She was born January 26, 1937 in Indianapolis, IN, daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Hoctor) Leik-him. In 1951 her family moved to White Plains, NY where Peggy received her education, completing her high school at Thevenet Academy in Bear Mountain, NY in 1955. They moved to Claverack, NY when her father retired, living there until 1 984.

She cared for her parents and was always a happy person. After her parents died, Peggy moved to Simsbury where she lived independently for ten years. Her sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Wayne Hudson, were residing in West Simsbury at that time. She was accepted into the Farmington Valley ARC program in 1984, familiarly known as the FAVARH Alleluia House, in Avon, and worked there five days a week for several years, making many close friends. In 1994 she moved into an apartment at St.

Mary Home in West Hartford. She is survived by two brothers. Father Joel Leikhim, O.S.B. of Morris-town, NJ, and Joseph Leikhim and his wife Elaine of Naples, FL, who have three daughters, her nieces, Mary Elaine Airozo of Colfax, CA, Nance Leikhim of Truckee, CA and Kate Moody of Cincinnati, OH; and a son, her nephew, Joseph of Tallahassee, FL; Also surviving her is her brother-in-law, Wayne Hudson of Simsbury; two nephews, John Hudson of Woolwich, ME, and Joseph Hudson and his wife Doris of Port St. Lucie, FL; two great nieces, Melissa Varano of Kensington, and Erika Hudson of Boston, MA.

She was predeceased by her sister, Elizabeth "Betty" Hudson. Peggy will be missed by her many friends in Claverack, NY, Avon, Simsbury and West Hartford. Aino (Ibrus) Aino (Ibrus) Lind, 80, of Glastonbury, widow of Hindrek Lind, died Friday, (September 7, 2001) at Glastonbury Health Care Center. Born September 23, 1920 in Koo, Estonia, she came to the United States in 1949 and lived in Hartford, moving to East Hartford in 1976andthentoGlastonburyin 1995.

Prior to her retirement in 1 978. She had worked for the Oak Hill School in Hartford for 29 years. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Kulli and Jaak Verravas of Glastonbury; a sister and brother-in-law, Olga and Hans Pakler of Amston; two granddaughters and their husbands, Kaida and George Scaglia of Glastonbury, Katrin and Colin Ryan of Wethersfield; two greatgrandchildren. Griffin Jack Scaglia and Kaari Dalen Scaglia; a cousin, Maie Rehepold of Estonia. The family would liketo thahkthe nursing staff at Glastonbury Health Care Center for the compassionate care given Mrs.

Modeen, 65, of Al berta Windsor Locks, husband of Margaret (Moselskv) Modeen, died Sunday, (September 9, 2001) at home. Fred was born in San Diego, CA and had lived in Bar Harbor, and Damariscotta, ME and also, Bristol and East Windsor before moving to Windsor Locks in 1964.

He graduated Lincoln Academy, Damariscotta, ME, and served in the Navy from 1954-1958. He had been employed at Automatic TLC in East Hartford for the past 41 years as a service technician and as service manager. Besides his wife, he is survived by his children, Frederick A. Modeen, Jr. of Windsor Locks, Terry Szabo and her husband, Miklos of Windsor Locks and Linda Cortelli and her husband, Todd of Springfield, MA; his brothers, Victor Modeen and his wife, Nancy of Redding, CA and William R.

Modeen, II of Mill-bridge, ME; his sister, Donna Mclnnis and her husband, James of Bar Harbor, ME; his uncle, Paul Modeen and his wife, Sig of New-ington; his grandson, Miklos Szabo, II; and his granddaughter, Jamie Szabo. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 11 a.m. at the Windsor Locks Funeral Home, 441 Spring Windsor Locks. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Grove Cemetery. Hubert "Hu' Hubert Hu" Holden. 76, of Simsbury, formerly of East wL Granby, beloved husband of the late Hope Dawn 'ff (Ward) Holden, passed away Thursday, (September 6, 2001).

Born in Clinton, MA, June 26 1925, son of the late H. Earl and Nettie (Roberts) Holden, he lived in Concord, MA, and resided in East Granby for 33 years before moving to Simsbury. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II in the European Theater for 2 12 years. During the Korean War, he served in the U.S.

Army and U.S. Air Force. He graduated from Aero Medical and Space Medicine School, Randolph AFB, San Antonio, TX, Para Rescue School Class 50 C. McDill AFB, Tampa, FL, Army Airborne School, Ft. Benning, GA, and was a recipient of the distinguished Para Rescue Maroon Beret and many other Distinguished Service Medals.

Hu participated in several civil and military air crash rescues, including the Capitol Airlines crash in the Potomac River in Washington in November, 1949, and the British Aircraft crash, 300 miles from the North Pole, in September 1 951 He retired from military service due to disability in 1954. Hu joined Royal Typewriter Co. as sales manager of the Eastern Division, Royaltyper Division until 1966. Hu began his real estate career with J. Watson Beach Real Estate, and in 1975 became an owner-broker, GRI, CRB, CID, managing Hu Holden Real Estate in East Granby for 21 years, and joined Chestnut Oak Associates of Suffield as a broker-agent, retiring in 1998.

He was a member of the National and Connecticut Association of Realtors, a member of the Greater Hartford Association of Realtors and served on the Board of Directors, the Computer Search Committee and Board of Realtor Grievance Committee for ten years. A devoted East Granby community volunteer with military and rescue experiences, he served the community of East Granby as Town Civil Defense Director for 20 years and also as a Special Constable. He established the East Granby Emergency Operations Center at the Town Hall. Hu was an original member of the North Central Connecticut Air Crash Disaster Planning Group and Chairman of the Exercise Planning Group, which conducted six simulated air crash disaster exercises over seven years. He served on several planning committees for the Town of East Granby and was a daytime driver for the East Granby Volunteer Ambulance for four years.

He was past president and a member of the East Granby Lions Club and also a member of the Simsbury Lions Club, life member of the DAV of America, Retired Officers Air Rescue and Para Rescue Assn. He was an original member of the CT Wildlife Duck Stamp program and was cited by Governor Lowell Weicker for his participation. As an expression of their patriotism to our country and the Town of East Granby, he and his wife donated the flagpole at Elmwood Cemetery, which was dedicated on Memorial Day in 1990. He was predeceased on July 31, 2001 by his beloved wife, Hope, who he married on June 13, 1947. He leaves a son, David E.

Holden of Woodstock, NY; two daughters. Dawn Leigh and her husband, Lawrence Staudt of Ireland, Diane Chapman Holden of West Haven; nine grandchildren, twins Sky and Shad, Shannon, Daniel, Jason, Nathan, Jamie, Sarah, and Elisa; and three great-grandchildren, Rebecca and Ethan Ediger, and Lila Holden; a sister and brother-in-law, Phyllis and Harold Deneault of Lanesboro, MA; and was predeceased by a brother, Leonard Holden. Special expressions of extreme appreciation to my dear friend and collaborator, Col. Randall L. Steffens, USAF Retired, Ber-nie Sage, and Frank R.

Rothham-mer (deceased); and also to the happiness and love only a 16 year old dog named Sam has given. A Celebration of Life for Hu and Hope, with Military Honors will be held at graveside Saturday, October 6, 1 1 a.m., at the Elmwood Cemetery, Nicholson East Granby. His family will receive friends following the graveside service at the East Granby Congregational Church fellowship hall. SITARO, Diane (Spadorcia) Diane (Spadorcia) Sitaro, 40, of Rocky Hill, died Saturday, (September 8, 2001 She was born in Hartford, beloved daughter of Elizabeth (Bellinghere) Spadorcia of Rocky Hill and the late Joseph Spadorcia, and had lived in the area all of her life. Besides her mother, she leaves a sister, Susan Cloutier of Rocky Hill; and two nieces and a nephew, Allison, Amy and Matthew Spadorcia. She was predeceased by her brother, Joseph Spadorcia, Jr. Funeral services wi 1 1 be held TODAY, Sept. 1 1 at 1 0:1 5 a.m.

Dr. Clarence W. Dr. Clarence W. Schultz, 81, of Storrs, professor of Electrical Engineering at UCONN S3 years Storrs, husband of the late Elizabeth Owen Schultz died Sun day, (September 9, 2001) at Mansfield Center for Nursing and Rehab following a brief period of failing health.

Born in Deer Park, WI, son of the late William and Amelia (Hammelman) Schultz, he received his Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering with high distinction from the University of Minnesota in 1942, his Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1948 and his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Northwestern University in 1956. He has been on the faculty of the University of Connecticut since 1948. He was also a graduate of Moody Bible Institute, Chicago, IL His areas of expertise included electromagnetics, antennas, digital integrated circuits as well as microwave systems, engineering acoustics, ferroelectric ceramics, electromagnetic desalination of sea water, superconductivity and superconducting magnets, propagation of electromagnetic waves, radio astronomy, cosmology, and astrophysics. He also held membership in the American Society for Engineering Education; Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers; American Physical Society; Sigma Xi; and PE, State of Connecticut.

He was also a founding faculty advisor to the UCONN chapter of Inter-Varsity Christian Fellowship and served as advisor for many years. A man of deep, abiding faith, he was a long time student of the Bible and his interests included biblical and Hebraic studies. He spent many summers studying Hebrew at the Ulpan Akiva in Netanya, Israel and travelled extensively throughout Israel. Because of his life long commitment to education, he personally provided assistance and educational scholarships to others pursuing higher education. He is survived by his brother, Gerhardt of Clear Lake, WI; two sons, Thomas W.

Schultz of P.E.I., Canada and Rossville, IN and David A. Schultz of Bridgewater, MA; five grandchildren; and many, many friends, colleagues and acquaintances who will miss him greatly. Memorial contributions may be made to Inter-Varsity Christian Fellowship or Christian Aid Mission. Funeral arrangements will be through the Potter Funeral Home, Willimantic. A graveside service will be held Thursday at 1 1 a.m.

at Storrs Cemetery, North Eagleville Road, Storrs. WELLS. G. lewis G. Lewis Wells, 86, an area resident for 44 years, died Monday, (September 1 0, 2001) at his home.

Mr. Wells moved to the area 44 years ago when he purchased the dairy farm that he operated until 1 983. He was a member of the Gallatin Reformed Church, the Pine Plains Lions Club, the Black White Holstein Club and the Stiss-ing Lodge 615 Born October 26, 1914, in Wethersfield, he was the son of Theron Dem-ming and Ida Mae (Sommerville) Wells. On November 28, 1948, in New Boston, MA, he married Isabel (Christensen) Wells. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Carol Ann Wells of Gallatin, NY; a daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Howard Brusie of Millerton, NY; two grandchildren, Melissa Dipper and Amanda Hum; a sister, Marjorie S.

Knapp of Wethersfield; a soon to be born great grandson, Byron John Hum; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Frances H. Johnson; and a son-in-law, John Dipper. Calling hours are Wednesday, 7-9 p.m. at the Peck Peck Funeral Homes, S.

Peter Paul Peter Paul Wierzbowski, 71, of Edgewater, FL, formerly of Stafford Springs, died on Sunday, (September 2, 2001) of a lengthy illness at the Bert Fish Medical Center, New Smyrna Beach, FL.

Peter served in the Army Corps of Engineers during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the American Legion and past commander of Post 26, Italian Benefit Society, and the Stafford Fish Game Club. Peter worked for Hamilton Standard of Windsor Locks for 39 years until his retirement in 1992. Peter leaves behind his beloved wife of 49 years, Rebecca of Edgewater, FL; three children, Brenda Bolduc of Derry, NH, Walter Wierzbowski of Stafford, and Peter Wierzbowski of Staffordville; and four grandchildren, Peter, Bobby, Tyler and Justin, all of Stafford. There will be no calling hours.

Peter Peter Muller. 90, of East Hartford, went to join his loving wife Mary (Boos) Muller Sunday, (September 9, 2001) at Marlborough Health Care in Marlborough.

Peter was born in Nagyesz-tergar, Hungary on January 7, 1911. He was a retired mechanic with Connecticut Transit He was an avid bowler for many years and belonged to the German Club. In his life he met many new friends on his visits to Stop Shop. Peter is survived by a son and two daughters, Erwin Muller of East Hartford, Annie (Muller) Naussand her husband, Gregory Nauss of Glastonbury, and Nancy (Muller) Michelson of Attleboro, MA. Peter also is survived by four loving grandchildren, Jennifer Nauss of Hartford, Erwin Muller Jr.

of East Hartford, Jeremey Muller of East Hartford, and the youngest grandchild, Trevor Michelson of Attleboro, MA and his father, Eric Michelson. Funeral services will be Wednesday, September 12, at 2 p.m. atthe Newkirk Whitney Funeral Home, 318 Burnside East Hartford. Calling hours will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. PEAKE, John Hugh Cameron John Hugh Cameron Peake, 82, died at home in Essex, on Friday (September 7, 2001). The cause of death was heart failure. He leaves his beloved wife, Doris; two sons, Christopher of Greenwich and Nicholas of Alexandria, VA; a daughter, Allison of West Hartford; eight grandchildren; and his former wife, Barbara.

He is survived by his sister, Alison (Basil) Henning of New Haven; two Pierre Burnschwig of Boulder, CO, and Joseph Brunschwig of North Bran-ford; and a stepdaughter, Turie Norman of Boulder, CO. His eldest stepson, Jean-gar Brunschwig of Pine, AZ predeceased him. Born in Rye, NY, on July 3, 1919, Cameron graduated fromtheLawrenceville School in 1938 and attended Yale until mid-1941, when he enlisted in the Navy. He later served in West Africa and the Sudan with PAA-Africa, and entered the Foreign Service in 1945. Together with his wife and children, the latter of whom were born abroad, he served as vice consul in Buenos Aires and Cuidad Trujillo, as consul in Oslo and San Pedro Sula, and as second secretary in Madrid.

He served as chief of Biographical Intelligence at the Department of State and in 1961 he was retired for permanent medical disability. From 1963-1965, he was director of the Pan American Congress of Architects, held in Washington, D.C., and later with the Citizens Committee for a free Cuba and the Puerto Rico Information Service. In 1968 he moved to Camden, SC and then to Hilton Head, SC, where he developed his reputation for creating historical and maritime dioramas. In 1980 he settled in Essex. A memorial service will be held at St.

RODOLFO-MASERA, Emma (Pellegrini) Emma (Pellegrini) Rodolfo-Masera, 95, of Suffield Street Windsor Locks, wife of the late Peter Rodolfo-Masera, died Monday, (September 10, 2001) at the Governors House, Simsbury. Emma was born in Argentina, while her family was immigrating to the United States and lived in Windsor Locks all of her life.

She was the daughter of the late Carlo and Madeline (Groggi) Pellegrini. She was a communicant of St. Mary Church, and an active member of the Senior Citizens Club, where she enjoyed bingo. She worked at the Montgomery Co. for many years before her retirement.

Emma is survived by her loving son and daughter-in law, Raymond and Arlene Masera of Windsor Locks; two grandsons, David Masera of Brimfield, MA, and Mark Masera and his wife, Heather of Grafton, MA; and a great grandchild. She is also survived by two sisters-in-law, Catherine Pellegrini and Anna Mobi-glia, both of Windsor Locks; and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to gather Thursday, 10:15 a.m., at the Windsor Locks Funeral Home, 441 Spring Street, Windsor Locks, for a procession to St. Mary Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1 1 a.m. Burial will be in St.

(Kirkstead) Whitman, died Thursday (August 23, 2001). He was predeceased by a son, George N. Whitman. Memorial services will he held Thursday, 10 a.m., at the Avon Congregational Church, 6 W. Main Avon.

She leaves her loving and devoted husband, Lon-nie. She was born in Providence, Rl, on April 19, 1909. She was the founder and general manager of High Manor Park in Vernon and has lived in the community for the past 50 years.

Besides her husband, she leaves a daughter. Norma Morris and her husband, Peter of Port Charlotte, FL; eight grandchildren, Barbara Doyle of South Windsor, Charles Morris of West-port, Debra Inman of Manchester, Jessie Auer of Piano, TX, Christine Doiron of Baton Rouge, LA, Her-vey Lavoie of Vernon, Scott Lavoie of East Hartford and Rose Zlomke of Laporte TX. She will also be missed by her 12 greatgrandchildren, Angela Pietro of Coventry, David Watson, Jr. of Stafford Springs, Lauren and Meagen Auer of Piano, TX, Chandler and Blake Doiron of Baton Rouge, LA, Michael and Diane Lavoie of Vernon, Scott Lavoie of Vernon, Michael and Rebecca Morris of Westport, and Ashley Myrick of Laporte, TX; and two great-great grandchildren, Britt-ney and Samantha Pietro of Coventry. She was predeceased by a daughter, Dorothy O'ConneJI of South Windsor.

She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, and spending time with her family. Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 1 3, 1 1 :30 a.m. atthe Ladd-Turkington Funeral Home, 551 Talcottville (Rte. 83) Vernon, with Karen L. Roy officiating.
