She was the daughter of Hazel Barnes and the late Nelson W. Andrews. Mrs. Barnes survives and lives in Corning. For many years, she owned and operated with her husband, Perry's Antiques Lamps Things.

She graduated from Ithaca High School in 1945. Mrs. Perry is also survived by her husband, Ralph J. Perry of Ithaca; son, Robert Todd Perry of Odessa; a daughter, Myrna Jane P. Perry Hall of Newfield; two brothers: Richard G.

Andrews of Corning and Gilbert C. Andrews of Ithaca; a grandchild, a nephew and a niece. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Herson Funeral Home in Ithaca with the Rev. Lowmaster officiating.

Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to Hospicare, 1297 Trumansburg Road, Ithaca, 14850. Lury M. Carlson Lury May Carlson, 79, of 36 Comfort Road, Ithaca, died in Tompkins Community Hospital, Saturday, Jan.

1, 1983. She was a native of Ithaca, and the widow of Carl H. Carlson who died in 1961. She was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church and Senior Citizens.

Mrs. Carlson is survived by a sister, Marguerite Scanlon of Ormand Beach, a brother, Richard Plea. Police refuse to identify Demming's wife and children, although Ithaca Police Chief James M. 3, 1983 ITHACA JOURNAL 5 WTKO sale planned for Wednesday Radio station WTKO's studio and equipment are scheduled to be sold at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the sheriff's department, 121 E. Court St. The sale had originally been scheduled Dec. 8, but it was postponed until Jan.

5 at the request of Dirk Galbraith, attorney for Continental Electronics Manufacturing Co. of Dallas, Texas. The property, at 315-317 N. Aurora is owned by Valley View Investors, which has its offices at the station. The sale is to satisfy a judgment awarded to Continental for $39,897 against Valley View and Ivy Broadcasting Inc.

Ivy is part owner of VVF Communications which owns the station. Galbraith said today the sale will not be postponed again. But it could be cancelled if the judgment is paid. The impending sale of the station is separate from a proceeding in U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Washington, D.C., where VVF filed for protection from its creditors while it reorganizes.

Phone company changes its new service procedure After early April, it will take a telephone call to one office and a visit to another to arrange for new telephone service. The change is in response to a 1980 Federal Communications Commission order deregulating new customer equipment. Now, when a customer wants a phone installed, he or she telephones New York Telephone's PhoneCenter in Pyramid Mall to arrange for a line and to buy or lease a phone. The customer can then pick up the telephone at the PhoneCenter. But beginning in early April, the customer will telephone or visit N.

Y. Telephone's Residence Service Center at 301 E. State then buy or lease a telephone at the Pyramid Mall office, which will be renamed the "Telephone Service Center." Or people can buy a telephone from another company. But New York Telephone will only be allowed to sell or lease equipment that was in the company's inventory on Jan. 31, 1982.
