O. Bee recommends the universal use of the Highly Concentrated Compound Syrup of Sarsaparilla and Pills. The N. O. Picayune feels a pleasure in giving their testimony to the efficacy of the Highly Concentrated Compound Syrup of Sarsaparilla and Pills, as they have used them the last three years.

The N. O. Louisiaua Advertiser Prejudice is the gall of imagination. One trial of Dr. Stillmau's Highly Concentrated Compound Syrup of Sarsaparilla and Pills will remove all doubt of its efficacy.

We always keep a supply oa hand. Tha N. O. Suu. Few inventions are so deservedly popular as the Highly Concentrated Compound Syrup of Sarsaparilla and Pills.

We have witnessed its benign influence in many inatauce. The N. O. PalrioL We know Dr. SUllman's Highly Concentrated Compound Syrup of Sarsaparilla and Pills renovates bad blood from the system by its purifying effects.

The conuection which exists between one of the editors of this paper aud the medical world, precludes us from saying much in favor of secret remedies. That restriction, however, does not apply to the various preparations of aar saparilla, whose great utility is so universally ac knowledged by all medical men. The approacb'of spring render the above inva luable preparation peculiarly appropriate at this season of the year, and we recommend it to the public accordingly. It is for sale at 96 Customhouse street. From the N.

O. Sun.1 We copy the following editorial from the" Plant er's Banner, eulogizing our friend Dr. Stillman and his highly aud richly Concentrated Compound byrup or Sarsaparilla. We concur with the editor in Lis opinion about the celebrated Hoc lor and ni medicine, or which we will thank him to send along a bottle to-day. We wish to coucentrate one in our person, as a salvo from impurity of the blood in this boiling weather.

The celebrated Compouud Syrup of Sarsaparilla, sold at 96 Customhouse street. New Orleans, is said to be a certain remedy for all diseases arising from impurity of the blood. It is prepared by a newly invented steam process, and one bottle is equal ia strength and efficacy to four or five bottle of the ordinary article. Dr. Stillman is a gentleman of very high standing in New Orleans.

He enjoy an extensive practice a a physiciau, and is now reaping the reward of hi labor iu concentrating the virtue of sarsaparilla, and bringing it to the perfection which baa gained for it so enviable a reputation throughout the Union. From the N. O. Bee, Oct. 22d, 1839.

We would calt attention to the advertisement ia our columnsTo-day or the Conceutrated Compound Syrup of Sansparilla, from the New Orleans and Southern Laboratory: We understand from the best medical authority that there is no preparation of the day which enjojs so enviable a reputation as a medical agent a this. The virtue of the shrub (sarsaparilla) as a purifier and -st rengthener of the human stem, especially of the blood, has been long established, and are now universally known. The best medical authority is in iu favor, and the testimony of the profession to this point ia almost, if not quite, unanimous; the only question is. aa to the form in which they can be best adapted to general use. The College of Pharmacy and Physicians have pat this to the proof, aad have discovered thi preparation to a highly celebrated and richly Concentrated Compound Syrup of Sarsaparilla, prepared by a new chemical steam process, by an eminent chemist who ha devoted much attention to the subject- Those who occasionally resort to any pori6er of the blood, will find thi an excellent one.

We have aeen the article in question, used it, and have observed its efficacy ia more than one instance among our immediate friends and acquaintances, It is to be bad at 96 Customhouse street, where it caa be had both at wholesale and retail. Louis street. april 7 tf july IS THE PLANTERS' BANNER, Franklin, Attakapas Parish of St. Mary, La. TO THE MERCHANTS OF NEW ORLEANS. rTMIE undersigned, publisher of the above named journal, long impressed with a sense of the advantages which must accrue to city merchants by publishing their cards or general advertisements in widely circulated country papers, has at last resolved to introduce the subject to their notice, through the medium of the city press.

Those, the nature of whose business is such as to bring them in frequent communication with planters and resident in the country, will need but few hint on thi point to convmcfl them that their interests might be materially affected for the better, by espousing the suggestion herviu made. It is a well known fact, that city journals, except some of a literary or. strictly political easte never obtain a very large country circulation. A few rich and reading planters, it is true, make themselves acquainted with the principal city sheets but as a general fact, their names are not known in the cown-try. The advantage to the merchant eneaeed in a country trade, is then evident, in making known his name and business, the assortment and quality of his goods, through a country journal.

Houses of rood standing, by so doing, would not only benefit them- selves, but would confer a decided favor upon dealers and from the country, who, strangers to the customs of large cities, are frequently, by their unsuspecting characters, led astray in their-purchases and sales, and thus made to incur serious losses. These suggestions the subscriber deems sufficient to open, the eyes of city merchants to a subject so fraught witn interest to themselves and should those who transact business in Attakapas or the country adjoining coincide in hi viewshe assures them that ao journal cpuld be selected which has a wider or better circulation in this then the Planters Banner. Published in both the English and French it is the most prominent organ of the Whig party in the south-western section of the state and as its political career has not prevented the publisher from making it a valuable family paper, it i to be round in humble aa well as snowy owwimi-, from Iberville to Caddo.
