TO PLANTERS MILLERS. STOCK. FEEDERS AND DISTILLERS. THE public are hereby informed that FILLER, of the City of Lafayette.

Parish of Jefferson, Loui'tana, ha made an improvement on the ordinary Corn or Grist Mill, of which be is the patentee, by which mills are made to grind com the mrwith the same facility as if tbe com was shelled, thereby saving to those who feed and distlL the in- vaiuaoie product ot tbe cob, which, as has been ascertained from exprriment and use, contains one-third of the nutriment of the whole -As to tbe value of provender thus made, and tie economy of its use, no one will doubt that il is of sufficient importance to command attention. In this simple, though valuable improvement, -tbe mackiuery of tbe ordinary mill may be to changed as to grind the com in the ear, and then be replaced to its forr jer position, by stopping tbe mill only one minute, without ihe least injury resulting therefrom. -This improvement can be applied to mills moved by horse, water or steam power. Distillers will find it greatly to their advantage to adopt this improvement, as they would be enabled ts commence grinding their corn in the ear much earlier than it eould be shelled the cob having the tendency to sponge off tbe stooea and prevent them from' clog- fing or choking. As soon as the ear is dry rooogh to uk, it is fit to grind.

The undersigned bas proven, by a series of tbe moat socceasfal experiments, that tbe cob answers as a substitute for small graiD. Tie earlier the com is ground, the more nutriment tbe cob possesses, and at any time it is worth as much as tlie san of mni. -An experience of three years, duong which lime the undersigned has had a mill with this improvement io operation, bas proved that mills prepart-d accordum- to his patent, are not subject to g-t out of repa aodlhe feed has given enure satisfaction to aU who have nsed n. been engaged from his youth in the milling business in Ihe Slate of Pennsylvania, with his father, and having thoroughly examined all ibe vanvus modes and improvements made ii the dinerent States on grinding, the patentee feels entire confidence in aying that his improvement bas not. or cannot be excelled, for its simplicirv, durability, and utility.

Planters, Millers, Distillers and Mechanics from other States, are invited to call a-i examine this improvement for tbemielves. at the LaCyette Steam Corn Mill," which is kept constantly in where ah; orders for mill stones, or mill irons, will be protnour filled at low rates. Tbe patentee wiU also make selections for persons from any part of tbe country wbo wis-h to purchase mill stones at all times giving bis personal attention when called upon. He will abo dress new miU atones, nt tlie irons, and attach the improvements for grinding ear corn to the same. Teams: Tbe right of a single mill, including the necessary materials, and the personal attention of the patentee in attaching tbe improvement, will be on hundred dollar.
