The youth groups will meet at the Methodist Church at 5:30 Saturday, Oct. 31, to conduct their door-to-door campaign from' 6 until.8 o'clock. Those on the drive will be wearing an identification tag.

Jerry Myers, member of the Rotary Youth Committee, was in charge of a brief ceremony honoring the team. First Coach Gus Arellano and team members were introduced.

The coach praised the boys for their fine cooperation and response to training, and thanked Rotary for the interest manifested in the boys of the community. TO conclude the ceremony, Danny Richardson and Nat Kearns, team members, presented a beautiful trophy that was selected and purchased by Bill Davidson, manager of the local Coca-Cola Company, to Fred Rawlins, past president and acting president for the day. The trophy is to be kept among the mementoes. Rotary announced that it would again sponsor. a team next year, Hojneniakcrs Group Meets To Reorganize The Progressive Homemakers met to reorganize their extension club Tuesday afternoon in the home of Mrs.

CHANGE IN MEETING PLACE Sorosis will meet at the home of Mrs. John Murphy, 753 Diane, with members asked to note change of meeting place. Mrs. Everett Rickard will be in charge of the book review, telling of the biography of Boris Pasternak.

Russian music will be provided by Mrs. Murphy, for the Monday afternoon meeting. Henry School Carnival Planned At PTA Meeting Carnival committee for the annual Halloween Carnival, sponsored by Paul Henry PTA, were appointed during the Monday evening meeting by Elqy Ludi, president. The carnival will be held Oct. 31, with supper to be served from 6 to 9 p.m.

Other events will include a film, fortune telling, fish ponds, and many other booths. The executive committee is in general charge. Mrs. Carlos Gilbert arid Dr. Virginia Sloan presented a program on the White House Yduth Conference.

Room count for the lower grades was won by Mrs. J. A. Davidson's third grade and for the upper grades by Mrs. Harold Thatcher's fifth grade.

Refreshments were served by Mrs. Bill Gerdeman and Mrs. Robert Williams and Mrs. Marjorie Stewart. Other hostesses were Mrs.

Richard Kierig, Mrs. Jack Werley and Mrs. Jimmy Bustamonte. Teddy Montgomery, son cf and Mrs. C.

M. Montgomery, ob-j served his fifth birthday with birthday party from three until five o'clock. A marionette show in the Montgomery puppet theatre entertained children with 12 acts. The show was presented by Danny Montgomery, Terry Meyers and Sammy 'Rodgers. The refreshment table was centered with a carousel with animal cookies, which surrounded the large white cake.

Colors carried out svere red, white and green. The party was concluded with the breaking of a Halloween pinata. Epsilon Sigma Alpha Has Indian Rush Party A rush party was held by Alpha Delta chapter of Epsilon Sigma Alpha Tuesday evening at the home of Mrs. L. L. Stokes. An Indian theme was carried out in decorations, refreshments, and entertainment.

Gonzales Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Felipe Homo Funeral services for Felipe Romo, 86, of Anton Chico, N. and life long resident there, who died here Friday, were held Monday morning at 10 o'clock with Msgr. H. Lomme officiating.

Interment was in the local cemetery. Romo is survived by two sons, Felipe arid Justo Romo, both of Pueblo, who came here for the services; also 11 grandchildren, many of whom were present for the services. Casket bearers were: Filiberto Romo, Delfino Romo, Procopio Montoya, Pete Marquez, Emilio Olguin, and Arcenio Lucero. Rogers Mortuary were in charge of arrangements. Mrs.

Trinidad Garcia The body of Mrs. Trinidad Garcia, 72, of Belen, N. who died here Monday, were forwarded to her former home for burial Tuesday afternoon accompanied by her husband Rafael Garcia. She is also survived a son, Filimon Garcia of Barstow, who was called here by' his mother's illness; two sisters, Cenaida and Sofia Trujillo, and three brothers, Severo, Juan and Julian Trujillo, all of Belen. Funeral services will be held there tomorrow morning from Our Lady of Belen Catholic church.
