The commencement ceremo-' nies, held at 6:30 p.m. Friday on the school's front lawn, featured 105 graduating seniors. As of July 1, the borough's and Chatham Township's school districts will merge, and the Chatham Township High School building will become the regional school. The Rev. John Branson of St.

Paul's Episcopal Church gave the invocation and Arthur principal, presented the graduates. Valedictorian Nancy Kathryn Foley told her peers to embrace "We will always encounter 'change in our lives, and it is up to us to deal with it," she told them. "When change ceases, so does life." She said the class itself changed from being renowned for committing pranks in middle school to developing into a good class. Other changes she noted were the upcoming merger of the two school districts and the step students are taking from high school to college.
