and Mrs. Richard Meyer, Lamar, became the bride of Robert W. Hoy, son of'Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Hoy, Mill Hall R.D.

2. The Rev. Glenn Heasley officiated at the ceremony which was followed by a church reception after the service and a later reception at the Elks Club in Lock Haven. The bride was given in marriage by her father and had Mi's. Pam Rathmell as matron of honor.

Bridesmaids were Miss Sandra Workman, Beech Creek, a qousin of the bride, Mrs. Linda Hoy, sister-in-law of the bridegroom, and Miss Cheryl Barner, Lamar. Michael Gallagher, Flemington, was best man. Ushers were the bride's brother, Richard A. Meyer Samuel G.

Hoy brother of the bridegroom, and Peter Spangler Lock Haven R.D. 1. Vaughn Meyer, the bride's brother served as acolyte. The bride wore a gown of nylon organdy with a Victorian neckline and a A-line skirt enhanced with Chantilace. Her train, attached at the waist with a bow was also trimmed with lace and her veil was attached to a cluster of lace petals edged Geyer-Spicer MILL HALL Mr.

and Mrs. Theodore Geyer, Mill Hall, R.D. 2, announce the engagement of their daughter, Nancy Ann, to Pwt. Robert Lee Spicer, son of Rose M. Spicer, 720 Bellefonte Lock Haven.

Miss Geyer is a 1971 graduate of- Bald Eagle-Nittany High' School. She is employed by the Ldck Haven Trust Co. Mr. Spicer is serving in the Marine Corps and left May 21 for a year of overseas duty in Japan. with seed pearls.

She carried a cascade of white roses and pink carnations. The attendants wore lavender dresses of crepe chiffon with white and lavendar daisy trim. They wore wide-brimmed hats with purple ribbon and carried bouquets of lavender mums. The mother of the bride wore an ensemble of beige double knit with green accessories and a corsage of yellow roses and white carnations. The mother of the bridegroom wore a blue double knit ensemble with white accessories and a corsage of white roses and blue carnations.

Miss Suzanne McClintick, vocalist sang Perfect Love" and Promise Me." Betty Barnes was the organist. Lavender chrysanthemums decorated the church. The bride, a graduate of Bald Eagle Nittany High School in 1969 is a junior at Lock Haven State College majoring in elementary education. She was entertained at a show given in April by Mrs. Rathmell, Miss Workman and Miss Barner and one given on May 11 by'Mrs.

Linda Hoy and Mrs. Betty Hoy. The bridegroom was also, graduated from BEN in 1969 andl is a junior at the Williamsport Area Community College. They went to Niagara Falls on their wedding trip. Croak-Fague MILL HALL Mr.

and Mrs. 'Paul E. Croak, R.D. 2, Mill Hall, announce the engagement of their daughter, Cheryl Lee, to L- CPL. Donald J.

Fague, son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald L. Fague, 172 Susquehanna Lock Haven. Miss Croak graduated from Bald Eagle-Nittany High School, and is employed by the State Correctional Institution at Rockview.

Mr. Fague graduated from Lock Haven High School, and is serving with the Marine Corps. UNIVERSITY PARK Miss Martha Suzanne Starr, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Starr, 184 North Third Street, Hughesville, was married at 10:30 a.m.

Saturday, May 15, in the Eisenhower Chapel on the campus of the Pennsylvania State University to Francis Joseph Condino. The Rev. James May performed the ceremony. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a white princess style dress of corded sheer crepe. She wore a bow of white ribbon in her hair and carried a bouquet of blue and white daisies.

Miss Barbara Seltzer, Dunnstown, Lock Haven, was the bride's only attendant. She wore a tan jersey dress and carried yellow daisies. Richard Hilner, Millville, served as best man. A reception took place at the State College residence of Mr. and Mrs.

John Wally, brother-in- law and sister of the bridegroom. The bridal couple resided in Lock Haven where they were senior physical education majors at Lock Haven State College. The bride, a graduate of Hughesville High School, is a member of Sigma Kappa Sorority. Mr. Condino was graduated from Elk County Christian High School, St.

Mary's. He is a member of Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity. BLANCHARD In a candle light ceremony on April 8, in the Assembly of God Church of Jersey Shore, Miss Shirley Lansberry, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Lansberry, Blanchard, became the bride of Donald Foster, son of Mr.

and Mrs. Richard Foster of Lock Haven R.D. The Rev. Richard Grimes officiated at the double- ring ceremony before an alter decorated with daisies. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a floor length gown of white satin made by her mother.

Miss Vickie Houdeshell was maid of honor. Miss Kathy Lansberry was bridesmaid, Miss Anna Lansberry was junior bridesmaid, and Tracie Foster was the flower girl. They carried bouquets of white daisies with varigated ribbon. William Lansberry III was best man. Ushers were Dennis Lansberry and Jeffery Foster.

The ring-bearer was Kevin Dietz. Following the wedding a reception was held at the Beech Creek-Blanchard Fire Hall, Beech Creek. WILLIAMSPORT The marriage of Miss Linda Sue Riddell, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank W.

Riddell, 1428 Manael to Anthony Joseph Rinella, son of Mr. and Mrs. Philip S. Rinella, 1538 Grampian took place on Saturday, June 5, at 11 a.m. in St.

Ann's Church with Msgr. Edward T. Sullivan officiating. Mr. Rinella is the grandson of Mr.

and Mrs. Anthony Rinella, 303 W. Main Lock Haven. He is a graduate of Loyalsock High School and the Williamsport Area Community College. He is a computer programmer employed by the Marine Midland Services in Buffalo, N.Y.

and lives in Angola, N.Y. The bride is also a Loyalsock High School graduate and a 1970 graduate of the Pennsylvania State University. She was employed by the Wolf Furniture Co. in Williamsport. There was a reception at the Lycoming Hotel after which the couple left for a wedding trip to VERNFIELD, Pa.

Mr. and Mrs. Charles W. Emery, Vernfield, announce the engagement of their daughter Bonnie to Larry J. Cassel, son of Mr.

and Mrs. Linford G. Cassel, Orchard Lane, Harleysville, Pa. Miss Emery is a graduate of Lock Haven High School and is an employee of the Harleysville National Bank and Trust Company. Mr.

Cassel is employed by Hatfield Packing Company. Bermuda. They will live in Angola. Wedding attendants included the bride's sister, Mrs. H.

Dennis Engel, Alexandria, and the bridegroom's sister, Miss Antoniette Rinella, Miss Donna Michael and Miss Eleanor Mansel. Coe R. Spencer, Wellsboro, was best man and the ushers were Mr. Engel, Jack Talley, Thomas Ward, DeWitt Chadderdon and Leonard Hiltz. The bride wore ivory organza with Cluny lace and an ivory illusion veil with lace flowerets.

She carried a nose gay of white roses, carnations, baby's breath with ivory streamers. The attendants work chalk, pink chiffon trimmed with ivory Venise lace and crownless picture hats of pink horsehair with full length trains of maline. They carried light pink carnations, dark pink roses and white daisies with baby's breath and ivory streamers. The couple Blanchard. and Mrs. Lester Younkin, of Lock Haven. The double ring ceremony was performed by Magistrate Douglas H. Peddie in his office, and the couple was attended by Mr. and Mrs.

John brother-in-law and sister of the bride. The bride attended Jersey Shore Area High School. The bridegroom, a member of the U.S. Army, attended Lock Haven High School. He is stationed at Fort Jackson, S.C., and will spend two years in Germany.

Mrs. Younkin is residing with her parents until later in the summer, when she will join her husband. Engagements Cooper-Walker BONNIE EMERY (Moser Studio) MILL HALL Frederick D. Allen announced the engagement of his daughter, Miss.Jean M. Allen, to James M.

Miller, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Miller, Lamar. Miss Allen is a 1969 graduate of Bald Eagle-Nittany High School. She is the granddaughter of Mr.

and Mrs. J. S. Allen, Mill Hall. Mr.

Miller was a corporal in the Marine Corps and is a Vietnam veteran. He is employed by Northeast Rebuilders, Mill Hall. LOCK HAVEN Miss Bonnie Jeanne Cebulka and Foster Eugene Haines were united in marriage on April 24 at 10 a.m. in the Immaculate Conception Church. The bride is the daughter of John A.

Cebulka. Mr. Haines is the son of Lee Haines, Lebanon, and Mrs. Nancy Haines, Swissdale. The bride had her twin sister Connie, maid of honor and Miss Judy Lehman as bridesmaid.

Thomas Haines was best man for his brother and the bride's brother, Marolous, was usher. The bride wore an Empire gown of dotted Swiss and a shoulder length veil held by petals of pearls and sequins. She carried red roses and white ribbon streamers. The maid of honor wore a navy and white dress trimmed with pink and carried pink roses and white daisies with pink streamers. The bridesmaid wore a yellow JEAN ALLEN CLARKSTON, Mich.

Mr. and Mrs. Raymond J. Cooper ol Clarkston, Michigan announce the engagement of their daughter, Carolyn Ruth to Larry Ray Walker, son of Mr. and Mrs.

Harry R. Walker of Mill Hall. Miss Cooper is a gradute of U. of Michigan Flint College and is teaching at Michigan School for the Deaf. Mr.

Walker is a 1969 graduate of Franklin and Marshall College and is currently doing graduate work at Michigan State University. The wedding will take place August 20 in Flint, Mich. WILLIAMSPORT Mr. and Mrs. Melvin C.

Chilson, of 3372 West Fourth Street, Williamsport have announced the engagement of their daughter, Miss Kathy Lynn Chilson, to John W. Hurlbutt, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Hurlbutt, of Jersey Shore. A graduate of Williamsport High Sqhool, Miss Chilson is employed by Trimtex, Inc.

Her fiance, a graduate of Jersey Shore Area High School and Williamsport Area Community College, is a senior at Lycoming College and employed by Trimtex. He is a member of the national guard in Lock Haven. Miller-Reynolds JERSEY SHORE Mr. and Mrs. Marvin J.

Miller, of Jersey Shore R.D. 2, have announced the engagement of their daughter, Linda Lou Miller, to Pfc Paul N. Reynolds, son of Mr. and Mrs. Norman E.

Reynolds, of Townville. The bride-to-be, a 1971 graduate of Jersey Shore Area High School, has been accepted at Williamsport Area Community College and will enter the practical nursing program in September. Her fiance is a 1968 graduate of Townville High School and was graduated from Williamsport Area Community College in 1970. LINDA MILLER ELIZABETH KUSSE and white dotted Swiss dress with and carried yellow roses with white daisies with yellow streamers. The bride graduated with the class of 1970 from Lock Haven High School and will graduate in December from the State Beauty School in Williamsport.

Mr. Haines is attending Lock Haven High School. After a wedding trip they are living at 320 S. Highland Lock Haven. There was a reception at the Loyal Order of Moose following the wedding.

Rat milking machine PHILADELPHIA (AP) Two employes at a Philadelphia- based drug firm have patented a rat milking machine. It uses tiny cups that draw milk from a lactating mother rat. They use it to see if drugs being tested on rats is carried over into their milk. Kusse-AAeyer BELLEFONTE Mr. and Mrs.

John F. Kusse of 231 West Linn Bellefonte, announce the engagement of their daughter Miss Elizabeth Lee Kusse, to Jack L. Meyer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Irvine E.

Meyer, of Jacksonville. Miss Kusse is a graduate of the Bellefonte Area High School and the Harrisburg Hospital Schools of Radiological and Nuclear Medicine Technology. She is employed as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in the Harrisburg General Hospital. Her fiance is also a graduate of the Bellefonte Area High School. He is attending the Lock Haven State College and will be a senior majoring in mathematics.

Man loses life In Erie home fire ERIE, Pa. (AP) Paul Fortin, 45, died Sunday in a fire in his East Side home, firemen reported, and his 64-year-old mother was hospitalized in fair condition. Firemen said they found Fortin's body on the second floor of the house when they responded: to a call by a neighbor. His mother, with whom he resided, was found outside. Erie County Deputy Coroner Edward Reispecki said an autopsy would be performed to determine the cause of death.

Firemen are investigating the origin of the blaze which caused an estimated $6,000 damage. Verses 8-15-21-31 of Psalm 107 are alike. NANCY GEYER CHERYL LEE CROAK Girl bumps cor of fudge licensing her STAFFORD, Va. (AP) -Only minutes after she'd received her driving license from Juvenile 4 Court Judge Francis Gouldman, a 16-year-old Stafford County girl was back in court. She had something to tell the judge personally.

On the way out of the parking lot back of the courthouse here, the' car she was so proudly'driv- ing had struck another car Gouldman's. 'It was just a little bump," she said tearfully, and she could find no damage at all. The judge left the bench to console her. "That car is seven years old, has been driven 85,000 miles and has been bumped before," he said. "One more little bump won't hurt it." Gouldman, who wouldn't identify the girl, sent her happily on her way.
