POLLY'S POINTERS Polly's Problem DEAR POLLY have saved many of (he newspapers with headlines and stories relative to the momentous events of the past few- months. The day will come when my grandchildren will appreciate them as they study history and current events. I would like to know ihe best way to preserve these papers -MRS. E.S. DEAR MRS.

Cook noodles according to directions on package, drain.

Meanwhile saute ground turkey in one tablespoon butter, stirring, until pink color disappears. Stir in tomato sauce. Set aside. In a bowl combine remaining ingredients except melted butter. In a two-quart casserole, spread half the noodles; cover with the cheese mixture, then with the remaining noodles.

Spoon melted butter over all, then top with the turkey-tomato mixture. Refrigerate. To serve, bake in a 375 degree oven until hot, uncovered, about 40 to 45 minutes. Stir in the chopped vegetables, cook just until tender.

Mix in the remaining ingredients and simmer for 30 minutes. Makes enough rich, flavorful filling for 12 buns. Turkey chowder 1 Ib. fresh ground turkey cup flour 1 tsp. salt pepper 2 eggs 1 tbls.

grated onion V4 cup milk 8 cups turkey or chicken broth 2 tbls. chopped parsley (optional) 6 medium-sized carrots, pared and sliced 2 cups frozen peas 6 tbls. butter cup flour 2 tbls. lemon juice, freshly squeezed 1 jhrimp Combine first seven ingredients together in a bowl. Shape into 36 small balls.

Bring broth to a boil; add meatballs, cover and poach 10 minutes. Remove from broth and set aside. In remaining broth, cook carrots 20 minutes and peas five minutes. Set aside. In a separate large saucepan, melt butter; stir in flour.

Mix well. Add broth, cook until bubble, about two minutes. Add lemon juice, carrots, peas, meatballs and Garnish with chopped parsley, if desired. Yields eight to 10 servings. Cheesy turkey pie 1 Ib.

salt tsp. pepper 3 eggs 2 pkg. refrigerated crescent rolls (8 rolls in each) 6 slices sharp American cheese In skillet brown turkey, onion and green pepper; drain. Stir in tomato sauce, mushrooms, oregano, thyme, salt and pepper; set aside. Unroll one package of rolls.

Place the four sections of dough together, forming 12 by 6-inch rectangle. Seal edges and perforations together. Roll to 12-inch square. Fit into a nine-inch pie piste: trim. Separate one of the eggs; set yolk aside.

Beat egg white with remaining two eggs. Spread half over dough. Spoon meat into shell. Arrange cheese slices atop; spread remaining egg mixture over cheese. Mix reserved yolk with one tablespoon water; brush lightly on edge of pastry- Reserve remaining.

Roll second package of rolls to 12-inch square as before. Place atop filling. Trim, seal and flute edge; cut slits for escape of steam. Brush top with remaining egg yolk mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to.50 minutes.
