Tipton and Miami County News Auto Crashes Into School Bus Near Peru Area Twelve school children and th driver a school bus escaped in jury at 7:30 a. m. Wednesday when a Michigan motorist crashed intc the rear of the bus three miles east State TrbopeTififfinTlusie, wn investigated, reported that Dorse Day, 58, Peru R.R. 2, driver had stopped to pick school children. The blinkers on th bus were operating and the sto sign was out, according to the ficer.

Harold W. Kitchen, 24, ot Pont ac, who was reported trave ing at a high rate of speed, skidde in an attempt to avoid the bus His car struck the right rear-enc skidded sideways and went ovc a five-foot embankment on th south side of the road on the Grove Butt farm. Officer that th Kitchen car skidded .147 feet before it struck the bus, and 165 fee after the collision. The car did no turn over. Kitchen escaped with cut on his hand.

Damages to the bus were esti mated at $200, and $600 to 1950 vehicle. Kitchen was cited for reckles driving in Mabel Personett's JP Court and was fined $1 and costs. Funeral Rites Funeral services for Miss Nell Madeline Daley, 64, former Logans port school teacher, will be belt from the St. Vincent's Catholic Church at 10:15 a. m.

Samuel Allison Dies Samuel G. Allison, 85, a retired farmer and carpenter, of 480 E. Fifth died at Dukes Hospital at 4:50 p. m. Tuesday following one year's illness.

He had lived in Peru 35 years. Born at Lagro, Sept. 2, 1870, he was the son of William and Margaret (Gilpin) Allison. He was married to Edith Stanley in 1908 and she died in 1947. Surviving is a step-daughter, Mrs.

Roy Fenton of Peru, and several step-grandchildren. Four brothers and two sisters preceded him in death. Funeral' services will be held 10:30 a. m. Friday with the Rev.

Thurs- Lezzley Ann Wilson Dies Lezzley Ann Wilson, 10-year-old daughter of Robert and Virginia Association Here Ray Eddy, basketball. coach at Purdue University, addresse members of the newly organized Purdue Alumni Association here at a chicken barbecue dinner Wednesday night at the Country Club.
