A brick yard employe from the age of 15, Mr. Hevner was a moulder for the General Re- fractories, when the plant closed in 1954. He had worked at small jobs since then. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs.

Charles Hevner, born Nov. 24. 1897, and would have been 66 years old this month. Twelve children survive. When Mrs.

Hevner died, 25 years ago, Mr. Hevner reared their two sons and 10 daughters. He had lived alone since the last of the family married. Surviving are Thomas Hevner, and Mrs. William Bowman, Blanchard; Donald, Farrandsville; Mrs.

Frank Norton, Bellefonte; Mrs. Donald Butler, Mrs. Kenneth Dickey and Mrs. Edward Herlocher, Mill Hall; Mrs. Waldon Hanley, Monu ment; Mrs.

James Young. Mrs. Vaughn Shady, Lock Haven; Mrs. William Rishel, Castanea; and Mrs. Robert Masden, Richmond, also 35 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
