Spanish Sauced Meat Vi teaspoon each of rosemary, thyme and marjoram, 1 can (lOYz oz.) tomato puree 1 can (1 Ib.) tomatoes cup pitted ripe olives 2 cans (12 oz. each) luncheon meat 1 small green pepper 1 medium size onion 1 clove garlic 1 can (3 to 4 oz.) mushrooms cup olive, or salad oil 2 tablespoons flour Vi teaspoon salt Vi teaspoon cayenne Cook coarsely chopped green pepper and onion, minced gaf'e and drained mushrooms (saving the liquid) in oil until lightly browned. Stir in flour and seasonings. Add mushroom liquid, tomato puree, tomatoes and olives; cook until thickened, stirring.

Cut luncheon meat into thin slices, and each slice into half. Put Va of the meat in a baking dish and top with 3 of the sauce; repeat until all meat and sauce are used. Bake in a moderate oven (350 degrees) about 30 minutes. Six generous servings.
