BINGHAMTON PRESS June 18, 1959 Area Obituaries Funeral Notices on Page 41 JOSEPH BARBARA, 53., of 405 South Loder Avenue, Endicott, died at 7:35 p. m. Wednesday at Wilson Memorial Hospital. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Josephine Barbara; two sons, Joseph, Jr.

and Peter Barbara; a daughter, Miss Angela Barbara, all of Endicott; and two brothers, Charles Barbara of Endicott and Anthony Barbara ofertaly. of Mr. Endicott Barbara Sons was of a Italy, Eleonora Duse Society, Concordia Club, the Binghamton Elks Lodge, 852 and the Independent Mutual Aid Society. The body was taken to the Anthony DeMarco Funeral Home, 1607 Witherill Street, Endicott and will be taken to his home, 405 South Loder Avenue, Endicott, where friends may call. MRS.

ESTHER DeCARLI, 113 Edwards 'Street, Eynon, died Tuesday morning at her home after a short illness. She is survived by three sons, Primo, Americus and Anthony DeCarli, all of Eynon; two daughters, Mrs. Jack Sciamanna of Binghamton and Mrs. Anthony Genof Endicott; grandchildren; and three great dren. Mrs.

DeCarli, who was in Italy, had resided in Eynon for the past 38 and was a member of St. Mary's Lithuanian Church. Friends may call at the family home, 113 Edwards Street, Eynon. Arrangements by the Michael Margotta Funeral Home, 1019 Main Street, Peckville, Pa. SANFORD R.

GARDNER, 66, formerly of Binghamton, died Wednesday morning after a long illness. He is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Sylvester Gower of Ghent, N. Mrs. Henry Middleton of Susquehanna, Miss Margaret Gardner, Mrs.

Alton Guiles and Mrs. Raymond White, all of Owego; several stepchildren; several grandchildren, and a brother, Wakeman Gardner of Sidney. Mr. Gardner attended the Methodist Church. The body was taken to the William R.

HARTZ, 63. of Hancock, died at 4 p. m. Wednesday, at Hancock, Read after a Memorial short illness. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs.

May Hoffman of Hancock; a son, Clayton Hartz o. Cedar Grove, N. a grandson, Robert Hartz of Hancock; three great-grandchildren, and a niece. The body was taken to the Henderson Funeral Chapel, Hancock, where friends may call from 7 9 o'clock tonight and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p. m.

GRACE MARGARET IRELAND, of Chenango Valley Home, died at 5:50 p. m. Tuesday at Chenango Memorial Hospital, Norwich. Born Nov. 15, 1874 Morris, she was the daughter of Abram S.

Harriet Benjamin Kirkland and wife of the late Frank D. Ireland. She is survived by a son, Harold F. Ireland of Unadilla; two brothers, Olin Kirkland Bridgeport, and Louis Kirkland of Bainbridge; and two granddaughters, Mrs. Philip Schuyler, Jr.

of New York City and Miss Marjory Ireland of Westminster, Colo. The body was taken to the Robert J. Fahy Funeral Home, Norwich, where firends may call from 7 to 9 o'clock tonight. MRS. LILLIE S.

KEELER, 85, of 17 Moeller Street, died Wednesday at the Garden House Nursing Home after a long illness. She was the wife of the late Van Day Keeler, who edited the Sidney Enterprise newspaper from 1912 until his death in 1945. She survived by three sons, Irving J. Keeler of Binghamton, Donald S. Keeler of Elmira and Charles D.

Hodges of Binghamton; six grandchildren, and Mrs. Keeler member of the Sidney Methodist Church, a past matron of the Order of Eastern Star of Sidney, a charter member of the DAR and a member of the Monday Club, all of Sidney, The body was taken to the C.

Madeline Griffin and Mrs. Mary Taylor, both of Greene; her mother, Mrs. Rose Ingraham of Greene: two sisters, Vera Hobbs of Greene and Lucy Bodutha Mrs. of Rome, N. several grandchildren, nieces, and cousins.

JAMES E. RUSSELL, 24, of Goldsboro, N. formerly of Rome, died Sunday as result of an automobile accident in Ocean Side, Cal. A member of the U. S.

Marines, he was stationed at Camp Pendleton, Cal. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Marie Hinson Goldsboro, N. a daughter, Tamelea Marie Russell, also Goldsboro; his parents, Mr. and Mrs.

Earl Russell of Rome, RD and a sister, Mrs. William F. Taylor of Philadelphia. The body will arrive tomorrow night and will be taken to the Sutfin Funeral Chapel, Nichols, where friends may call Saturday afternoon and night. MRS.
