si BlIEFrALQ WEEKLY BUB frlC, 366 Elctiea Betara. Madism CmTilmoerafic Reflector Nov. 9lh savs: We vim to-dav. as far ascertained; trie re Republic. BUFFALO, N.

NOVEMBER 11, 184a Wayne 4 onuty- Wayne gives Mr. Vam Boreh a majority of one hundred over Tatlor a result which speaks well (or the fidelity and attachment to principle of the etHinr democracy of lhat counrr. The honker ia vprv hht in most of the towns. The whig county ticket, we learn from the Sentinel, is elected by majorities ranging from 100 to 600, it bein generally supported by the hunkers as well as the whigs. The Sentinel expresses, as well it may, high gratification at the result, and then re news its pledge to uphold the glorious principles embodied in the Buflalo platform, uuul the tri uinph of the free -democracy, in 1852, shall place iham uoon.

the statute book of the nation. It says "Whoever may be- the President elect for the ensuin" term of four years from the 4th of March next, and whatever shall bo the action of the present Cougress and Executive, or the political complexion and action of their immediate succes sors in reference to the doctrines of this creed, and' especially upon the great question of the NON-EXTENCION OF THE INSTITUTION OF HUMAN" SLAVERY, whatever shall be the temporary results and decisions in these particulars, our confidence will be unshaken in the ultimate prevalence of the principles of the Buffalo platform. The trammels imposed upon the parties of the country by the extraordinary proceedings of the late Baltimore and Philadelphia conventions, as well as the organizations under which these bodies were held together, will henceforth cease to be felt or to exist, ami the people at large left free to act as the calls of their country, and their honest judgments and consciences shall dictate; and we anticipate that the consistent friends of Democratic Freedom the friends of the honor and perpetuity of our glorious Union will be found manfully'battliiig side by sid FOR THE CAUSE OF RIGHT.and of EFFERSONI AN REPUBLICANISM. "There must be NO MORE COMPROMISES WITH SLAVERY: if made, they must be REPEALED." Cass and Butler Banner at Auction I The Committee having neglected to pay for the Cass and Butler Banner that was suspended over Main above the Liberty Pole, 1 shall offer said Banner for sale at auction, at the corner of Main and Exchange streets, on Monday next, at 1 o'clock, r. to pay arrears on the same. Novemberll, 1313. JAMES BOWKER. The above advertisement, which appears in the Express this morning, will doubtless call together a large nnmbir of the lovers of old relicts and emblems of things that were." This Banner should be purchased by some patriotic Hunker and placed in the war department where is to be found the Guerrilla Flag of Mexico. The expulsion of the last of tliu Tarquines and also the flight of Louis Phiilippe, the last of the Bourbons, has boon a matter of interest throughout the world.

The and picture of the last of the Mohicans has received a wide reputation and we see no reason why a Ba-ner which contains a full length portrait of the last of the Dmghfaccs should not go down to posterity at least as a curiositv. he itcsult. There can be no doubt of the election of Gen. Tatlor. The states of Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Man-land, North Carolina, Kentucky, and Tennessee, making one hundred and forty-four electoral votes, are, judging from the retuws, beyond question lor Taylor.

In addition to these, he will probably get Louisiana, Iowa, Georgia, Florida, and perhaps Illinois and Maine, makingrfr-onc electoral votes more. This "getting along without New rork," has turned out to be a verv had business. ID" We have failed to acknowledge the obligations we are under to the eastern telegraph and to O'Reilly's and Speed's western lines, as well as to the gentlemanly operators here, for their promptness and liberality in furnishing us with election intelligence. We shall remember their kindness, and shall be happy to reciprocate it whenever we have an opportunity.
