U.S. Seeks Drive Aid WASHINGTON (AP) The United States is seeking the help of many other countries reportedly including Russia and other Communist states--in its diplomatic drive to deny sanctuary in Cambodia for Communist forces which operate in Vietnam. State Department officials disclosed today this is being done by circulating to other governments the note which the United States sent earlier this month to Cambodia together with a document of specific evidence bearing on Communist troop operations across the Vietnamese-Cambodian border. The U.S. move came after the Cambodian government of Prince Norodom Sihanouk had rejected a new U.S.

approach on the issue, which is regarded here as. extremely serious because it involves a risk of widening the war in Southeast Asia if a diplomatic solution cannot be found. Sihanouk published his message rejecting a U.S. proposal for giving an international control commission the necessary support to patrol the borders. AfHnHon Members No.

CO Saves Two Cows HONOLULU (AP) To the rescue of two cows came the U.S. Coast Guard. A 40-foot Coast Guard boat picked up the first swimming heifer Thursday, and the tender Ironwood plucked the other with a cargo net. What were the cows doing swimming in Honolulu harbor? The Coast Guard says it appears they wanted a cooling dip to break the monotony of barge travel between Molokai and Kauai islands. They were in Honolulu briefly for feeding.
