Msgr. John Phelan officiated at the noon double-ring ceremony. The bride Is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer R.

Wlnterberger of 37 Roosevelt Avenue. The bridegroom is the son of Col. Harvey Thornton, U. S. Army (Ret.) and Mrs.

Thornton of Washington, D. C. and New Jersey. Escorted to the altar by her father, the bride wore a waltz-length gown of embroidered silk organza and a shoulder-length veil. She carried rel sweetheart roses and stephanotis.

Miss Joan Breen was maid of honor for her cousin. She wore a gown of light green net with a dark green veiled headpiece. She carried white carnations. The flower girl, Suzanne Wlnterberger, a niece of the bride, wore a white dress and headband and carried red sweetheart roses. Harvey Thornton, wa best man for his brother.

Ushers were Carl and Alan Winterberger, the bride's brothers. A reception took place in Kennedy's Inn. After a short honeymoon in. New York City, the bridal couple will live in Washington. Mrs.

Thornton is a graduate of North High School and the University of Vermont. In the fall she will do graduate work-at Georgetown University. ELD A GILLETTE Gillette-Zulick Nuptial Date Is Made Known pHE engagement and approaching marriage of Miss Elda Jane Gillette to Thomas Michael Zulick is announced. The bride-elect is the daughter of Mrs. C. Richard Gillette of 126 Leroy Street and the late Mr. Gillette.

Her fiance is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Zulick of 149 Iris Drive, Sunrise Terrace. Miss Gillette was graduated from Central High School where she was president of Delta Kappa. Her fiance was graduated from North High School and now Is a student at Hart-wick College In Oneonta.

The couple exchanged marriage vows at 2:30 p. m. in Christ Church, New Brunswick. The Rev. W.

D. Stowe officiated at the double-ring ceremony. The bride, formerly of Johnson City, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul P.

Hanson of New Brunswick. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph F. Rossie of 6 South Mountain Road.

The bride's gown was brought to this country by her grandmother. It was styled with a fitted bodice, wide neckline and a waltz-length skirt. A bonnet of the same embroidery held, her shoulder veil. She earned a Colonial bouquet of cream roses, stephanotis and babies' breath. Mrs.

David Gregory Rossie, the bridegroom's sister-in-law, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Mary Elizabeth Crull and Mrs. C. Gilbert Chapel, both of Binghamton. They all wore walU-length gowns of cornflower blue and white chiffon with blue cummerbunds.

Their picture hats were with velvet bands. They carried colonial bouquets of cornflowers and delphinium blossons. David Gregory Rossie was best man for his brother. Ushers Were John P. Higgins, Gary D.

Hall and Lt. David J. Reynolds, U. S. Marine Corps, all of Binghamton.

A small reception took place In the home of the brlde'i parents. After week's honeymoon In the South, the bridal couple will live at 7 Olcott Street, Middlebush, N. J. Mrs. Rossie is a graduate of Fayetteville High School and Harpur College.

Her husband was graduated from Central High School and Harpur College. He is a graduate student at the University of Wisconsin. West Side Club's Picnic Wednesday-Members of the West Side Literary Club will have a picnic Wednesday at the summer home of Mrs. Frederick F. Hammond on Quaker Lake, Pa.

Reservations for the 12:30 p. m. party will be accepted by Mrs. Jesse Robblns of 6 Mersereau Street. Mrs.

A sequin and pearl crown held her full-length veil of illusion. She carried white roses on a Bible. Mrs. Stuart Burchell was matron of honor for her sister. Mrs.

David Bouren, a cousin of the bride, was bridesmaid. They wore green and pink waltz-length gowns, respectively, and carried pink gladioli. Carlton Whitehead was best man for his brother. Ushers 'were Duane Cokely and Joel Whitehead. A reception took place in the church parlors.

Miss Morris Of Sidney Is Married MISS PATRICIA NAN MORRIS of Sidney and Stuart, Schiffman of New York City were married June 21 in New York City. Judge Robert Cacace offl elated at the ceremony in his home. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stewart Morris of Sidney.

Miss Helen Salzman and Richard A. Krauss attended the couple. The bride is a graduate of Sidney Central School and Lycoming College. She is a teacher in the White Plains school system. Her husband is a graduate of Brooklyn High School and Lycoming College where he was a member of Alpha Gamma Upsilon.

Her fingertip Illusion veil was attached to a sequin cap. She carried a white Bible, With white orchids and stephanotis. Miss Charlotte Miller was her sister's maid of honor.

Bridesmaids were Mrs. Leon Osborne of Endicott and Mrs. Gerald Wilcox of Vestal. Linda Henry of Endicott, the bride's cousin, was flower girl. Best man was Rudolphe Stastny of Endicott.

Ushers were Gregory Foreman of Endicott and Maynard Lawton of Maine. Craig Miller of Yardley, a cousin of the bride, was ring bearer. The maid of honor and bridesmaids wore street-length dresses of silk taffeta with nylon net overskirts. Miss Miller's was aqua, Mrs. Osborne's, yellow, and Mrs.

Wilcox's, pink. Each wore a bow-type headpiece, with a veil, and carried a basket of sweetheart roses. The flower girl wore a white dress with pink accessories. She carried a small -basket of sweetheart roses. After the ceremony, some 150 guests attended a reception in the church parlors.

The newlyweds will live at 506 Church Street, Endicott, when they return from a three-week honeymoon In the south. Pa. Couple Will Note Golden Anniversary Mr. and Mrs. Bush Shimer of lOVi Laurel Street, Montrose, will celebrate their 50th anniversary next Sunday.
