In the last quarter, Button went through left tackle for a score and Brashear scored his second touchdown on another end run. The local men were in good condition, no one being Injured and with the exception of Craycroft and Bovard the first string men played the entire game.

Saturday's came would indicate that with the exception of Carey, who at present is on the second team Cornell has no punter of ability.

The Cornell players were over anxious and failed to get together but the team which faced the Allegany eleven Saturday was much further advanced than was the Red and White team of a year ago in the opening fray. An even 100 yards of penalties were chalked against the Cornellians, most of which were for being offside. Twice during the game St. Bonaventure worked the ball to within 10 yards of the Cornell goal. In the opening period Cornell knocked down a forward pass and in the last quarter after forward passes had carried the ball to within five yards of the Cornell goal the Ithacans held the visitors for downs. Cornell's backfield combination appears to be much better than that of last season. Lechler proved to be a plunging back who keeps his feet and hits the line hard.

Ramsey also smashed the line for some good gains while Kaw and Pfann and later Wahl at quarter got away with some clever off tackle plays which netted good gains. In the first period In which Cornell was held scoreless the Ithacans appeared to lack confidence. Beginning with the second quarter when two touchdowns were registered the Cornellians begun to show ability and smashed through the St. Bonaventure defense almost at will.
