Mrs. Hornaday was an active member of the Richmond chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution. She was regent of the chapter, 1926-28, and also had served as chapter registrar and vice-regent. At the time of her death she was a member of the chapter's Theodore Roosevelt Centennial Observance committee and also was a member of the national p. m.
