Cochran, 68, a lifelong resident of this vicinity, and one of the most prominent men of the city, died lust night at hia home on North Twelfth street, following a long illness due to paralysis. He had been lying at the point of death for eeveral weeks, and the members of his family were at the bedside when the end came.
