' Hostesses were chapter members that live in Osceola, Mrs. William Alexander, Mrs. Max L. Fairley, Mrs. Clarence Grigsby, Mrs; Brewer Hefner, Miss Martha Moore, Mrs. Wayne Moore; . , . ' Mrs. John Ed Phillips, Mrs. Conrad Taylor and Mrs. Spence Williams. Guest speaker, Rev. Edward Mooney; pastor, of Osceola's. St. MattHew .Catholic-; Church! discussed values of an individual, using as his topic, "Me, Myself and I." Mrs. H. L. Veesnian of Osceola presented piano selections by Chopin, Cole Porter and Irving Berlins "Easter Parade." An Easter motif was used in decorations with, an egg tree and spring flowers forming the tea table centerpiece. Mrs. Wayne Moore presided at the punch bowl. In the business meeting, conducted by the chapter vice- president, Mrs. Da Blackwell, plans were made for the groups participation at L a district meeting in Forrest City, April 27. \ Installation of officers will be held at the next meeting which is-scheduled for May- 2 in' the Central Elementary;School Cafe torium." "•', • . '.- . • : Stacy Jones Has Birthday Party Friday Stacy Jones, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Jones, celebrated her eighth birthday with a party at her home Friday. The nine guests attending were Jane Carson, Teresa Thompson, Cheryl Woodall, Leeanne Miller, Laura Murphy, Mary Lynn Brock, Angela Maynard, Karen Dulaney arid Robin McHaney. The refreshment table, covered with a green cloth overlaid with white lace, was centered with colored grass and candy eggs encircling a green and yellow cake. Stuffed bunnies and chicks and Easter baskets were also placed on the table. Games were played and winners ,were Robin McHaney and Cheryl Woodall. Sandwiches, potato chips, lime drinks, cake and ice cream were served the guests. Guests were given favors of miniature stuffed chicks and ducks, puzzles and lollipops. Rev. Gearing Pastor Visits Trinidad Rev. John Gearing is spending this month in Trinidad where he is conducting a series of evangelical meetings at the Kindergarten Registration Wednesday Registration for the fall term of Calvary Baptist Church kindergarten will be Wednesday. Anyone interested in registering their child should come by the church Wednesday from 8 JO a.m. to 12 noon and 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. The registration will be for both morning and afternoon classes. Teacher will be Mrs. John Lamb, who has an Arkansas elementary teaching certificate. invitation of the Foreign Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention and Rev. Reginal Hill, Southern Baptist Convention missionary in Trinidad. Rev. Gearing has been Missionary for the Mississippi County Baptist Association here for the past 15 years. While in the Caribbean, Rev. Gearing will attend the evangelistic conference of all Latin American countries in San Juan Puerto Rico. Rev. Gearing will return to Blythevilie around May 5.
