Semi-final results found Evansville eliminating Connersville, 47 to 27 and Anderson taking out Kokomo, 33 to 27. Ability of Kokomo to hit shots from cut on the floor in the second half proved the undoing of the Muncie squad.

The Cardinals held an 18-to-10 halftime lead but Kokomo grabbed a one-point 21-to-20 advantage at the end of three periods. Seitz led Kokomo in scoring, hitting five field baskets and three free throws for 13 points. Hawley scored ten points to lead the Cardinals. The summary: KOKOMO 1 MUNCIK JR.
