Little Brother Boy would like to learn how to ride bike, cook This week's Little Brother is 10 years old and he thinks the best thing about having a Big Brother would be to have "someone to spend time with." The family is experiencing more than their share of challenges at this time with mom and younger sister dealing with cancer. His mother believes that he has had to worry too much about adult things and just needs someone who would be there for him. She would like his Big Brother to help him to express his feelings and to help ease his anxiety. She thinks someone a little older would have more patience and work with him better.

He would love to go swimming and would like someone to teach him how to ride his bike. He would also like to learn how to play sports and learn how to cook. Dollars raised through Daffodil Days campaigns help the ACS fund research, provide up-to-date cancer information and education, advocate for public health polices that benefit the community and provide services that improve the quality of life for patients and their families. Last year, Daffodil Days raised more than $4,000 in Delaware County.

Nicholas D. Edleman has graduated from the Ammunition Specialist Advanced Individual Training course at Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, Ala. The course is designed to train soldiers to assist in receipt, storage, issue, maintenance, modification, destruction and demilitarization of conventional ammunition, munitions and explosive components according to technical and safety directives; perform ammunition supply stock control and accounting duties using automated and manual procedures, and operated material handling equipment to maneuver ammunition. Edleman is the son of Cindy J. Gahagen, Muncie, and is a 2004 graduate of Wapahani High School.
