Sharon.L McMillan Weds Richard Wayne Blakeley A color scheme of blue and white and lighted candles was used to decorate the Chehalis Westminster Presbyterian church last Saturday evening for the wedding of Miss Sharon Lee McMillan and Richard Wayne Blakeley. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wesley McMillan and the bridegroom's parents are' Mr. and Mrs.

E. Blakeley, Tacoma. Reading the double ring rite was the Rev. George Shuman, pastor of the church, and in the of 110 guests, Mariane Blaser sang "Because" and "I Love You Truly." Miss Blaser was accompanied by the organist, Mrs. E.

A. Jones who -also played the Wedding March. The father of the bride gave his daughter in marriage and she wore a while nylon lace over white satin gown. The bodice was fashioned with a round neckline and long sleeves and the full skirt ended in a train. Her fingertip veil was held in place by a drop seed pearl crown and she carried a white orchid surrounded by white roses and satin bows.

Marion Laisure, cousin of the bride, was maid of honor and "Pouring were Donna Woodward and Sharon Powers. a wedding trip to- the beach the bride changed to a blue suit and wore the orchid from her wedding corsage. Pete Hagen spent'Saturday touring the capitol grounds and museum. The group left Centralia by train and was met by Mrs. Carl Mrs. Floyd Jackson. Mrs.

Nolan Joachim and Mrs. Harold Wall. The Brownies ate sack lunches on the capitol steps and then toured the state reception room, senate and house of representatives and carried a bouquet of blue and white spring flowers. and Mrs. M. L. Durden, Longview, and Ellsworth Cristler, son of Mr. and Mrs.

Orville Cristler. Chehalis, last Sunday afternoon at 4 o'clock. The church, decorated by Mrs. Paul Tornow, Mrs. John, Nowad- nick, and Mrs.

Ed Ramsey, featured tall baskets of pink- peonies and white calla lilies, accented by 28 lighted tapers. Each pew was marked by a single pink rose and dainty white blooms tied with white ribbons, bons. Preceding the double-ring rites, read by I he Rev. George L. Holmquist, Mrs.

William Hagerman played the organ music and also accompanied Mrs. George Crosta who sang "The Wedding Prayer" and "0' Perfect Love" in the presence of 150 guests. The bride advanced down the white draped aisle on the arm of her father who gave in marriage. She wore a floor-length white nylon lace-over-white slipper satin off-the-'shoulder gown. The bodice was with tiny seed pearls and cascading from the back of the waistline was a long white nylon lace and.satin train.

Her white illusion net veil was waist-length and was held in place by a rhinestone tiara. She carried a white Bible topped with a white orchid, surrounded by stephanotis and white satin streamers. Mrs. Gary Conover, sister of the bride, was matron of honor and she wore a floor-length rose net- over-taffeta gown, styled like that worn by the bride, and a matching hat and elbow mitts completed her costume. A pink gladioli crescent shaped bouquet was carried by the matron of honor and the bridesmaids, who were Janice Hoffman and Karen Ferrall.

The bridesmaids gowns were also floor-length, in light pink, and they wore matching hats and mitts like that worn by the matron of honor. Small Dorothy Macomber, flower girl, was dressed in a rose gown, identical to the bride's and the attendants and she carried a basket of rose petals. The cousin of the bridegroom, Edward Harvey Cristler, was best man and ushering were Arden White, Johnnie Loy and Orville Durden. Donald Durden was the ring-bearer and Tornow and Sam eitzeU-werW the acolytes. The bridegroom and his attendants wore white and red boutonnieres.

Mrs. Durden chose a pink lace over pink taffeta dress and white accessories and Mrs. Cristler wore a beige lace over beige taffeta dress and her accessories were pink. Each wore a pink orchid corsage. The bride's parents entertained at a reception in the church parish hall immediately following tht nuptials.

In charge of the reception were Dick Hanson, Mrs. James Petra, Mrs. Ivan Armstrong and Mrs. Herman Miessner. Pouring were Miss Beverly Cristler and Mrs.

Phillip Grislier and the cake was cut and served by Mrs. Don Foxley. At the gift table were Mrs. Arden White and Airs. Dale Sielaff and Mrs.

John Mackey had charge of the guest book. The bridegroom's cake was passed by the Misses' Lynette White and Becky Ferrall. For a honeymoon to California the new Mrs. Cristler donned, a navy blue suit with white accessories and wore the orchid from her bridal bouquet. The bride has resided in Chehalis for six years and the bridegroom has been a Chehalis resident for 22 years.

He is at present associated in business with his father and the-pair will make their home at 1727 McFadden, Chehalis, after June 21. Guests from out-of-town attended from Yakima. A cummerbund at the waistline ended in back with a large bow. She wore, a pink satin bow in her hair, from which fell a short veil, and her shoes were pink satin.

Her bouquet was of American beauty roses and green ivy. Patricia O'Neil and Darlcne Hauge, sister of the bridegroom, were dressed in blue to match the maid of honor and they carried pink roses trimmed in ivy. The cousin of the bridegroom, Dcon Teels, was the flower girl and she wore a floor-length pink-orchid embossed lal.fela frock and carried a raw. Following the wedding a recep tion was given at the church by a of the bride. Centering the bride's table was a five-tiered wedding cake, with the base "of the cake in the shape of hearts, and decorated with pink rosebuds topped with the traditional bride and bridegroom Mrs.

The bridegroom, a Tacoma resident for 19, years, graduated from Lincoln high school and attended Western Washington College of Education. He is currently employed by the Pre-Fit Door and Cabnit company, Fircrest, Guests were present from Woodland, Seattle, Tacoma, Lot Aoititf, candies banked the altar of the Chehalis Apostolic Faith church when Miss Stella Orena Twining and-Richard Stephen Fleming re- leated their nutial vows June 4 at an 8 o'clock evening service. The wedding music was played by Miss Roberta Ruele and a Johnston.

Chehalis, sang "Because" and John Friej sen "The Lord's Prayer," preceding the ceremony which was performed by the Rev. Reuel Green in the presence of 150 guests. A white lace over white satin floor length gown was worn by the bride and her headpiece was of pearl orange blossoms. She carried a small white Bible topped with white orchids. Miss Dianne Worthington, close friend of the pair, was maid of honor wearing a nile green dress, trimmed with white chiffon and forest green velvet ribbon.

She carried a bouquet of gardenias surrounded by pink car- I nations. The candlelighters. Miss Judi Fleming and Miss Shirley Muller, wore white gowns, trimmed in nile green chiffon and forest green velvet and they carried pink carnation bouquets. Miss Frances Fleming, flower girl, was dressed in a white an'd green printed nylon dress and her flowers were gardenias and pink carnations in a nosegay. The brother of the bridegroom.

Donald Fleming, was Ushering were Glen Wines, Larry Fleming, Arthur Wines. and Richard Cooper. The mother of' the bride donned a pink lace street length dress and the mother of bridegroom chose a blue lace dress. White baby orchid corsages completed Ihcir costumes. The reception was held in the basement of the church and the teorattd can- wedding cake was three and decorated with pink roses and a miniature bride and groom.

Pouring were Mrs. Myra Bowar and Mrs. Glen Wines, sis-, ters of the bride. Serving the cake was Mrs. John Friesen.

The new Fleming graduated from the W. F. West high school and is employed by the John A. May company, Chehalis. The bridegroom graduated from the Mossyrock high school and is employed by the Ed S.
