U. S. Congrcsswoman Julia Buter Hanscn will be the featured speaker. Dedication ceremonies for the five mile extension of State Highway 1 from Spirit Lake to the tiniberline on Mount St. Helens will start at 12:30 p.m.

Entertainment will be provided. Kalich said it is the plans of the program committee that residents of SWVV will plan a family picnic and day of fun at the mountain for the opening ceremonies. Coffee and ice cream will be provided. The Lewis county commmission-1 ers have pushed for this year for the past three years. When two more timber sales are completed, construction of the final link between the mountain and Randle in eastern Lewis county will be started, Kalich said.
