(AP) Edwin Francis Laker, developer of the Pathfinder long-range bombing system, died at age 70. Laker, "who died Saturday, served as a major with the 82nd Airborne Division during World War II. Services for Lisa Marie Turpin, 9, will be held 2 p.m. today at the Assembly of God Church, Hamburg. Lisa died Monday at Morristown Memorial Hospital from injuries sustained when she was hit be a pickup truck here last Saturday afternoon. Born in Pompton Lakes, she lived on Lower Unionville Road. She was a fourth-grade student at the Sussex Christian School, and was a member of the Assembly of God Church and the church's Missionette group.

Surviving are her parents, John and Carol; two sisters, Laurie and Gertrud Fiechter Terri, both at home; and her maternal grandmother, Marie Gallagher. Mrs. Everett Bailey NEWTON Eloise Bailey, 23 Moran died yesterday at the Sussex County Health Center. She was 82. Born here, she lived here her entire life.

She was a member of the 1 First Presbyterian Church, here. She is survived by her husband, Everett; a daughter, Charlotte Beemer, Sandra here; and a grandaughter, Sentner, Hackettstown. Services will be held 2 p.m. Friday at the Iliff Funeral Home, 156 Main with the Rev. Rodney Boaz officiating.

RANDOLPH TWP. Gertrud Fiechter, 58 Fords Road, died Monday at Dover General Hospital I following a long illness. She in Germany, she lived in River before moving here. She was a member of the Lutheran Church of Our Savior, Brooklyn Road, Stanhope. Surviving are a son, Paul here; a daughter, Mrs.

Gertrude Carl H. Berg WASHINGTON TWP. (Morris) H. Berg, 98 E. Mill Road, Long Valley, died yesterday at his home after a short illness.

He was 77. Born in Sweden, he had lived here since 1954. He was a member of Tryggve Lodge No. 88, Vasa, Montclair. He was a retired building contractor.

He is survived by his wife, Astra; two daughters, Mrs. Pamela Coviello, West Caldwell, and Lenore, Long Valley; three brothers, Harry, Montclair, Nils, Provincetown, and Arvid, Willingsboro; and four grandchildren. E. McLaughlin, Tinton Falls; a brother, the Rev. Erhard Eisenmann, Germany; and seven grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at the Lutheran Church of Our Savior. Arrangements are by the Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 Route 10. Bertha Ziegenhagen HOPATCONG Bertha Ziegenhagen, 5 Crestview Road, died yesterday at home after a long illness. She was 88.

Born in Germany, she came to this country in 1926. She lived in Dunnellen before moving here nine years ago. She was a member of the Dunnellen Senior Citizens, the Hopatcong Senior Citizens, and Middlesex Chapel, Middlesex. Surviving are two daughters, Dorothea M. Wilhelm, here, and Ann Zimer, Dunnellen; and several nieces and nephews.

Her son-inlaw, Thaddeus Wilhelm, is a member of the board of education here. Services will be held 8 p.m. tomorrow at the Leber Lakeside Funeral Home, Main Road, Landing, where a blessing will be celebrated by St. Jude R.C. Church.

Surviving are her husband, Stanley a son, Fred Ader, Kenvil, N.J.; two sisters, Mrs. Alice Esposito, Chatham, N.J., and Mrs. Martha Applegate, Rockaway, N.J.; and a grandchild.

Eric Nester RANDOLPH TWP. Mildred L. Nester, 63, of Franklin Road, died Saturday while visiting her daughter in California. Born in Paterson, she lived in Chicago before moving here. Surviving are her husband, Eric a son, Carl Netcong; a daughter, Mrs.

Jean Garzione, Morris Plains; a sister, Mrs. Antoinette D'Erasmo, Wappinger Falls, N.Y.; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. The funeral will be held 11 a.m. Friday at the First Presbyterian Church. Arrangements are by the Gallaway Crane Funeral Home, 9 Church St.
